Wow thanks all, really appreciate it! Portra 400 has the most amazing subdued colour pallette, not to mention absolutely incredible latitude.
freecom2: I don't mind critique at all, don't worry. On my calibrated monitor the difference isn't actually that great, but it appears dimmer as it is shade light only whereas the other has more direct light. That said it probably wouldn't hurt if it was 1/4-1/3 stop lighter.

GF670, Portra 400. More here. I've been doing all my work in film in 2013. I love it.

Another page of stunning shots. We're not to bad at this photography lark are we....
Just a quick one from my Mamiya C330f on the 180mm lens shot on Fuji Provia slide film.

Went on a walkabout this Sunday morning in London with my Cosina and a roll of West Yorkshire Cameras' 400 ISO b/w film. Got some lovely shots from it, devved and scanned at Asda, tweaked in Lightroom. Tips and critique always welcome!

Lots more on my Flickr, other films too.
H'mm this is turning into a "pro's" thread with all these excellent shots.
Okay maybe not a 'proper' scan of a negative or something but today marks a big step in my traditional photography.
2 years ago I took my first photos on film, 3 months ago I developed my first black & white film and today I printed from a negative!

Osh. 2 more exquisite squares. Great light, super subjects. You really are the Velvia king.
Thank you so much again people. Osh, another two really solid landscapes, you are building up quite a portfolio. Those Velvia colours are insanely nice.
Two really nice landscapes. I just love the rich saturated colours of velvia.![]()
Well done mate, its a magical moment when the image appears on paper.

A frog.....dunno if the colours are right as I took the shot about 30 years ago, and the frog is dead now.

Tom, Brian - those are some really nice portraits of two very different looking subjects.
Posted some trolley images 11 pages back. Here are some more. Still Ektar 100 and on the GF670. These are all shot around the Brent Cross shopping centre in residential areas.
