Show us yer film shots then!

A lot of great photos again.....good job all

Another from the roll of Precisa I picked up yesterday. Taken using my Minolta X-500 with the 50 1.7. In my opinion this looks every bit as 'good' (sharpness/colour etc) as any file from my dslr :D

The Precisa looks good. Were you just using your Minolta's inbuilt meter for these photos? Are you shooting at box speed?

I have a roll of Precisa that's just been sitting in my refrigerator for months; perhaps I'll actually use it one of these days.

I used the aperture-priority mode and shot it at 100. I always try and shoot at box speed unless I absolutely cannot help it!

Well done Fred, the second one is my favourite too.

Really like this ^^

We have cats but nothing like as photogenic ...besides they won't stay still long enough to get a decent shot....now if I had an F100 with 1/8000 shutter speed!! :D

Hardly had any time to take pictures in the last few weeks, but here's one from a walk along the Anglesey coast at the weekend (Bronica SQ-Ai, 40mm, Velvia 50):

Really excellent shots recently, and seemed to have gone passed the phase of shots full of spots and hairs.

My greater pleasure is B&W but when my greatest pleasure, my 4yr old grandson is in town, I have to use some colour so here's one rollei retro and one agfa vista:

help! I've got two legitimate image links in the posting but no images in the post????
Now, if this works the issue is nested folders on photobucket

Mmm, that's quite odd, if you right click the little logo's they open up in a new window.

And I just copied your image code and it works fine...maybe you should just edit the post, delete the img codes and reinsert them and see if that helps.

All sorted now

Ah, thanks for that.

I wondered if it might be a nested folder issue even though this hasn't been an issue previously and I can't see why it should be. Let's try again.

Don't worry I've got some scanning to do at some point, I can guarantee that will have hair and dust...

That's gotta be a cue for me to get something posted ....simply to bring the standard back down :D

This one's on me......

First roll of Portra 160 through the Hasselblad at the pub on Sunday;

I'm going to go against the grain and say I prefer the first one (nothing wrong with second...still a cracking photo)

But the first one I keep coming back to. I love the reflections and that at first glance it appears to be a 1950s photo, but then you realise it's a modern car with a retro interior. And the dog in the car looking out becomes a timeless image.

Osh,

Another stunning image....simply beautiful. You must enter one of your landscapes into the POTY competition.

What did you upgrade to? I dumped my V330 a while back and replaced it with a Reflecta 7200, it is costing me a lot more in film now!

I got a Minolta 5400, new in the box cost me a lot but make me stick to film.

Thanks Steve, really enjoying the camera and the learning curve. Lots of B&W but now trying colour.

Just checked my film log and I have put 29 rolls of film through it since 16 February. All HP5 except the last three; two Portra and one Velvia.

I skipped pud so cannot comment on the Lemon Posset!

regards

Mark
