Hasselblad 500CM, Provia 400X

Another display of the shallow depth of field of medium format - I think this was at f/4, and clearly only a small slice of the chess board is in focus.
 
Great work Gavin, I love to see old cameras kept alive :thumbs:

The work posted on here is what gives me the inspiration to get out shooting....some superb work.

Here's another two from me continuing with my home "amature" C-41 processing .....this time on some OOD (Sept 2006) Konica Centuria Super 400 iso film.

Looks like I held the temperature better on this occasion as there is virtually no colour cast...the only retouch being a slight sharpening.

Went on a walkabout this Sunday morning in London with my Cosina and a roll of West Yorkshire Cameras' 400 ISO b/w film. Got some lovely shots from it, devved and scanned at Asda, tweaked in Lightroom. Tips and critique always welcome!

Thanks very much - yeah I bobbed and weaved a bit trying to get the taxi in. I thought it completed the stereotypical London shot :)

Norters,

Really like #3, it is a shame the wheels of the cycle and Vespa are cropped off/missing, but it is never the less a well constructed shot and I love the way you have captured in the composition the twigs flashing into the main subject, very nice indeed.

I had to chop the Vespa off as it was the lesser of two evils. The other being chopping Snake's head off (or whatever he's called)!
 
One from my developing spree today. This is from my dad's old camera that went on a lot of our holiday's with us. A Vivitar 440PZ that I finally got round to putting a battery in last week. HP5 and D76 1+1:

Two very nice results there Mart ....... the symetery of the suspension bridge takes poll position for me too although I do like the tonal range in the first shot

Osh, the pony is unusual and brilliant.

A few years ago, I acquired a Schneider 65mm Super Angulon lens and decided to make a 6x12 camera around it (details in the link below).

These are from the first roll of film through it (well, the first roll which didn't come out completely black!).

Couple from the recent "snow" falls here in SE London. The last is a bit dark but it accurately captures the godawful and depressing 70's soviet block "Peoples Square" architecture that is General Gordon Square here in Woolwich.

I am forcing myself back to colour film for a bit. At least until it gets a bit sunnier.

Steve that is brilliant! First class piec of work there, and some nice pictures as a result. You should be very proud of that.

Little bit of vignetting and/or light leak? I couldn't work out whether the darker patches were clouds or not! But lovely stuff. I'm SO impressed! :clap::clap::clap:
