Show us yer film shots then!

There was a Benici Comet, Italian, made in the 1950's but i don't know about the folder.

It does seem to produce nice shots though.

Andy

Thanks Andy. I will have to ask my dad to double check the name. Pretty sure it was a folder. Quite basic with only a few shutter speeds too. You can see a lot of movement blur in the others on flickr!

Ferrania exported some folders from Italy too such as the Falco around 1950 but iirc they were 6 x 9 frames

Another couple from the 1950's Balda Mess Baldix:

I had a "stairway" moment:D.......

Those are really nice shots, Asha. I feel the first one has a rather timeless quality, as though it could have been taken at any time from when the camera was manufactured.

Cheers Dean, glad you like.

Bringing the camera era forward several decades to a Nikon F60, here's a few more from my first C-41 home dev ( there's more posted on this thread )

A shop window moment:

Sadly I missed the focus on the queen with this one:

And of course the obligatory soft drinks machine:

Love the diagonals in that second stairway shot Asha

I haven't forgotten about your film btw, just finding it difficult to get to the Post Office at the moment!

My order of Acros and a test Polaroid film arrived this morning, so I had to look for instant gratification ;)

The background is probably a mistake, getting silly with the hair brush preset that I thought would help the polaroids stand out but instead it looks as though I scanned the pictures on the back of a dog.

Cheers Nick, I climb up those staircases quite a bit as they lead up to what was the old chateau here in Nice.....They're not steep, however there are plenty of them!

No worries re the film....as and when you get chance!....I av plenty to keep me going for the moment.

I wish you polaroid people would go somewhere else, your tempting me in to a very expensive habit!

Like the effect of top & bottom of the pineapple seperated......an idea that could be incorporated into just about any theme really.

it looks as though I scanned the pictures on the back of a dog.

Made my day ....burst out laughing when i read this...good job I'm sat here alone:D

Chest wig comes to mind...not that I'd know of course..

Is that the Polaroid back in the Mamiya? It does cover a fair amount of the image area, a little more than I remembered.

Long exposure taken last month on the RZ67. 90mm lens, Fomapan 100, Ilfotec LC29

I made a start PP ing to remove dust etc then frustratingly "lost" the file so instead here is the "original" straight from the scanner:

Wow, cracking shot, I really like this.

Thanks David,

It took two attempts to get the shot...the first one is massively overexposed as when the exposure time had lapsed, I couldn't for the life of me remember how to close the shutter in T mode :bang:

This second attempt fell just right with timing as litterally 2 seconds after finishing the exposure the ferris wheel lights were switched off!

The timing of the post is also spot on as according to my google homepage it is happy 150th birthday to George Ferris. :)

I'd never given a thought to the inventor tbh, thanks for mentioning him... there's a nice little section of history to read about him here;

His birthday falls 14th Feb, however if his year of birth is 1859 then he would have been a tad older today at 154 years of age.

That's a nice view of Clovelly. Makes a change from the usual picture postcard type shot.

I still think I would need to take the Landrover Bus back to the top. :):)

I had to walk up it last night after seeing a client. I swear it doesn't matter how many times, it always ruins me!

And thank you.

Oof, at least if you're on the downhill walk you get to sit in the pub at the end of it! :P

Lovely shot though, brings back fond holiday memories :)

Is this your first roll with the "new" 35mm lens??......nice results from it:thumbs:

The mosaics set into the ground look like they could make an interesting shot....perhaps another time if you pass by there again?

When the ground is wet it does tend to appeal to me more ( so long as i'm not sat on it!:D)

Like those a lot, especially number 3. Amazing that you can have a photo expedition and get the film processed, scanned and uploaded all in one day!

Thanks Chris,

Excellent shots Mart, really atmospheric. I also was out and about early this morning but sadly no mist in Cheshire.
