Amazing shots from Scotland agains Woodsy, amazing
I think we might have to ban you from north of the border, at least until I get another chance to head up there
Love the Glen Coe shots on your flickr as well, especially the first sunset one

Great shot Rick, and nice that the Polar Bear got invited to the wedding too![]()
Are those light leaks on the film? If not it maybe be the scanner's light coming through the film's sproket holes

Looking at the top of the frame I think I needed the light seals doing!
Actually that looks like you're doing too much agitation when dev'ing the film...streaks like that are a dead giveaway - I occasionally got them and thought the same as you - light leak...But it's not that at all... the sprocket-holes 'channel' the dev across the film and thus you get these characteristic streaks.
When they say 'invert' every 30 sevs, it means 'just invert' - I used to give the tank a slight swirl and a tap to dislodge air-bubbles as well and it was this that caused these streaks to appear...
Once the initial 45 secs of dev are done, all bubbles will have been dislodged anyway...

A few from me, first time out a film camera properly...an old Canon AE-1, with a vivtar 28mm lens & 50mm prime! I should have another load soon as I filled another film over the last two weeks.
Seems to be a food theme running
S8![]()
...and now you know why we all used to have red, green, blue, orange and yellow correction filters for B&W...lol
A yellow-orange was the usual 'on-all-the-time' filter for general B&W shots...
Look at those carrots - they're almost glowing!
That's because they help you to see in the dark
You do have a good point, I just like messing around with a film camera as it makes me think about the photograph more
"desperately trying to remember how this film stuff works" element
Paul

you'll be exploring with one soon.![]()
What film was it?

A couple from yesterday's wander around with the A-1 and my first try with Fuji Acros 100. For a first attempt, I think I like this film
From Streets...
to Bridleways and Footpaths...
All shot on Canon A-1, Various Lenses (28mm f2.8,50mm f1.8, 75-200 f4), on Fuji Acros 100, developed in Ilfosol 3 - 1+14 and scanned with Canoscan 8800F and Silverfast SE software.
