Not bad for a plastic lens I guess :)

It's a truly fantastic shot ! you got it right ! have you been practising doubles ?

I only dislike the vignetting but every holga does it I think.

Not bad at all - why is this not in the F+C themed competition?

I have/had a Holga 120n myself, but daughter who is in high school right now has been using it as it has quite the cult following.

The image is beautiful. It looks looks so vintage and yet so detailed. Love it.

APS film from a Kodak APS. Taken 5/6 yrs ago and scanned. First film shot I have posted on here, and also posted in the peeps forum.

Thanks for all the kind words guys :)

This rather saddening shot was taken with yet another quirky film camera, the Lomo LCA.

Taken in Warsaw, Poland on route to the Russian Market (a weird and wonderful place that sadly no longer exists).

The sign says something about burns - and suddenly it all makes sense. :|

Some from a walk along the South Downs Way; taken with a Yashica Mat 124G on Fuji Pro 160S, rated at 125. Not really made as a landscape film but I think it captures the colours nicely.

I just got back my 1964 Spotmatic from Eric after a CLA. He repaired the meter and cleaned the lens. The lens was yellow and had some fungus. It is pretty cool on how good it looks and how solid and crisp it feels. So I now have the first and the last of the spotties. :)
So these are test shots I took around my yard. Yes, my yard is a real mess. Traces of my kids are all over....The Orange and Pomegranate I shot wide open

This was a quick experiment to see if I could produce an image without actually doing a print, it's out of date Lucky Film 100ASA 35mm, shot on a Nikon F4 with a 35-70, home developed and then projected onto a piece of white plastic with an enlarger (cheers Cowasaki), photographed at as straight an angle I could get with a digital camera on a tripod then into photoshop, inverted the image so it's not a 'negative' and pulled then straight perspective wise. Not brilliant but at least it gives some idea what the shot looks like. Sounds long winded but in reality it was pretty easy.

Fantastic, I know what I am doing later in the week :)

Hoping to get my first wet prints done then too if I can lift the enlarger and sort it

Please explain. :)

Eric Heffer was a British socialist politician from the early 60s through to the beginning of the 90s - a firebrand of the left. He famously stormed off the platform of the 1985 Labour Party conference during a speech by the (reformist and centrist) leader, Neil Kinnock.

So, he was a very red Heffer :)

It's got a bit of a vintage look to it but it was just a quick, dirty try it and see session, I'm sure with a bit of faffing it could be made better.

What a nice film superia 200asa is..........

Just a snap playing with a Vivitar 135mm f2.8

Back to why we are here then... nothing special but I cooked this film before getting James' film wet - just to make sure I could

Sometimes, I drive past this house and dream...

one_day.jpg

Then other days I feel wicked. Took this because I liked the juxtaposition of the two trees, one in full dress and the other nekkid - however, the branches do seem to be arranged in such a way as to sum up my day so far on TP...

Thas cheating, addin em in after!

These are especially for and dedicated to Arthur... a couple from my last lot of film, from June [weddings kicked in after that] ;)

All shot with Pentax P30 on HP5 film

Not my best work by any means, but enjoyable. These were developed and scanned to disc by the shop...the quality was lousy, will get them printed and try my own scanning next time.

P30 eh? No wonder you wanna get the Retina sorted

Second go at a shoot, plenty of mistakes. First two are Portra 160VC, I changed the second to black and white as I'm having problems with uneven development (C-41 Rollei Digibase), the third is Fuji Pro 400H.

That first shot is fantastic, they look so miserable .

Zeroeseight, great set. The colour range in the first shot is fantastic.
