Mustanir - is it a seagull 120mm MF ?

btw guys ! - how do i know if my tesco's has photo dev ?
the only thing I have in bradford is proam imaging, but I don't like them and don't trust them + they are expensive.

I'm fairly sure it will only be Tesco Extra stores that do it, and then probably not all of them, but I'm open to correction.

#1 is oddly cool, but surely that should be a found film, not a lost one :D

I once was lost, but now I'm found. Blind, but now I see...

.......that you're right! :D

There are two very large Tesco stores in York, both with photolabs, but one of them has stopped doing film processing and the other one charges around £6.
So it seems that you need to live in the right places to get a Tesco that will develop and put on CD for £3 (maybe worth some starting a thread listing which places do offer this deal).

I would ask them to CHECK their price. It is 99p to develop a C41 film of ANY size and £1.98 to scan ANY size to CD including an index print of those scans. This is a STANDARD Tesco price. That is with NO other prints.

Same near London.....I used to get the index print extra free at old price of £1.98 and IIRC was 99p extra to anyone else, so it would seem Tesco haven't put up their price as 99p+99p+99p=£2.97.

my tesco charge me £1.94 for the development and to put them on CD  99p for the development and 95p to put on CD, it always comes with the little 6x4 printout of the photos too :) thats Southport tesco for anyone local :naughty:

The price went up last week. When I went in it was so new that their advertising DVD playing on the TV behind still showed the old price so when I pointed it out they had to give me that price but it has been switched off since. You will probably find it has gone up when you go in next time.

I think I see my error! I phoned and asked about prices for developing, but I think he thought I wanted them printed as well. Maybe I should go back in to the store and ask for a price to develop&scan without printing.
Do most of you back up your prints with scans? And backup the scans onto DVDs or external hard drives?

The only annoying thing about my usual Tesco is they wont just develope a film for 99p, so will have to go to another...for me, it's very handy for cock-ups, 10p films from boot sales, testing, or unknown exposed films and don't want to spend £3 (I have a scanner so no problem).

I would ask to speak to the manager at customer services and ask him why his store isn't complying with the pricing/product setup as per the rest of the group.

HUH! Just keep your negs out of sunlight and in a cool place and they should last for 50 year minimum (maybe some colours will fade)....How do I know? because being an old fart have colour negs going back 50 years.

I stash the envelope that Tescos gives me away after importing the disc into lightroom. I label the envelopes and date them. That way I have the images on the computer with the digital ones and can go back to the negs to create new prints too.

Thanks but I did do this a year ago at the Photo dept, and was told by "Miss very important" shop staff:- managers at different stores have some power to set prices, special offers and conditions etc and the manager wasn't available at the moment......so to shut me up threw in the index free, erm which would seem others were getting it free also. :shake: :suspect:

Confused?

I'm sorry but I've got to agree.... The copyright's too intrusive for me to see past it.

Just clicked on the EXIF... Where/how did you get it scanned?

Lot less watermark visible now :) So, what do we all think to this pic? I Love how unaware they were when I took it :)
