Show us yer film shots then!

ha ha, it was my first time using a waist level viewfinder and trust me, the thing wasnt the easiest camera to use!

that however, will not stop me, going to look up how to load film (cant bloody remember) and try shoot some more film this week on it.

I can't get things level on anything other than a SLR to be honest, unless stick it on a tripod and mount a spirit level on the top

i like angles, well i never shoot them digitally but always end up with them on film so i therefore 'like' them now. :D

got some more angles for you on the way after i try edit out some of the dust from the film, all shot on my diana on my first trip to london few months ago.

il put them in the toy camera thread since its not a real camera...

a few shots from our visit to wales last bank holiday weekend.

The scanner is rubbish, especially at scanning slides.

Hi Folks,
Sorry for the long post and crappy photos. I shot these while riding around on my bike. I rode about 20 miles this day and I was done...Actually, to be honest, I called my wife to pick me up as I was too tired to make it home. She was tempted to leave me there.
Pentax K1OOO, SMC M 50F/1.4 but all shot at F/8 and Ilford XP-2

It was at this point, that I realized, I just rode some 15 miles to get here and I had to still ride home...:(

Best way to get your interesting shots......everyone should use a bike if possible, I can manage 10=20 miles there and back, but it's the hills that knacker me and I get people stopping in their cars to check that I'm not dying...true.

Everything must go - starting with the legs...

Been there, done that - I think pretty much every cyclist has done at some point...

My most recent was on the Mountainbike this February - user error and over the bars moment, wrecked back wheel, bust knee and a 8 mile off-road bike carry to get home. And I didn't even have a camera with me to record for posterity :'(

I just received delivery of a lovely F100 today along with a complementary roll of film from the seller (Superia 200 I think). The camera is absolutely lovely, so mint that I can see that it hasn't even touched a tripod. It's the nicer to hold than any other 35mm I've had the joy of using (digital or otherwise).

These shots are pretty bland, I was just wandering around the garden while trying to put my free film through.

First film that I've shot and had developed for a while. Scan was done by the High Street shop that developed the film, and I have to say that I think the colour was off a bit, but it's also my first time using Fuji film, so it could be that.

Seems strange going through a load of prints to see which shots worked or, in some cases, to remember what I'd shot at all.

I agree. It is a fantastic way to get shots and work out at the same time, though in my case I was dying :)

#1, #4 and #6 - and some 'proper' street photography as well - none of that long-lens 'sniper' rubbish here...
...maybe a little more contrast in #6 would make it more appealing to my eye, but other than that...

Very nicely done.

Just started a project on "woods/trees", I plan on using all the different formats to see what I can come up with. These were shot on my Canon AE-1 and 50mm f1.4, was originally colour (kodak 200) but the colours were horrible so I converted to b&w with some dodging and burning on a few.

Couple more from me... I'd been holding them back, in case I needed 'em for this months POTY competition, but decided that It'd be a waste of time entering film shots...:(

So - another from the Metal Blokes at the Sculpture Park...

(LegacyPro 100, Ilfosol3 9+1,Canoscan 8800F)

and a quick shot of this guy lurking in the woods

(Ektar 100, Tetenal C41 kit, Canoscan 8800F)

why ?

I must admit, I can't go in there, its like trying to knit fog with crossed eyes figuring out wthell is what in that abomnation of a sub...
There's just too many same threads, I can't figure out what's current with all those bladdy starter threads then a discussion thread about the starter thread, then a posting thread to post pics complying with the starter thread and a discussion thread about the discussion discussed in the starter thread discussion thread thread about the voting thread about the thread.......blahhh........shidology, lifes too short.

I can cope with the POTY sub-forum, just about - 3 threads per month - entries, discussion and results/ass-kissing, plus a sticky for the overall leaderboard. Can't handle the other part though - all those strange 52 threads and competitions with strange initials that turn out to be about a visit to a zoo

Hi I'm new here - these are from my first ever roll of 35mm film. I got an old Eos 500 from eBay for less than £2. Shot on Kodak BW400CN, developed and scanned at Tesco.

Mr 6T - that last one is excellent, truly

Here are a couple of pictures from a roll of Fuji Neopan 400CN. These are all shot at ASA 200 on a CLA'd Asahi Pentax Spotmatic using a Takumar SMC 50 F1.4. All metering was hand held using a Gossen. None of the kit was less than 35 years old.

The chav and big issue are really quite striking, the eye shadows are just taking the edge off the chav though.
