I can offer 75p in a campervan shaped money box and a half eaten box of After 8's for that Fuji camera you don't like

I'm going to hold out for a full box of After 8's as a half box would be only After 4's...Although I am tempted by the money box.

Deal done, a full box of After 8's it is, shall we take it to PM?

Oh, sorry, just been informed by the Mods that no trading is allowed outside of the classifieds....sad but true. :D

Damn, don't want to get on the wrong side of the mods though, so I'll just have to eat the the After 4's myself, only 4 hours to wait

The gf got an instax about six months ago and has really enjoyed it...so much so that it now she is lusting after a Bessa, loves the film.

The instax is great fun. Paying for film on the other hand? Not so much.

Love the first one Nick......it's a relief to know that the positions us photographers put ourselves in are worth the effort!

P.S perhaps an horizon adjustment in order???!

Just testing the sharing function on Ipernity with a shot from Amsterdam. Portra/Minolta 7000:

FWIW, the Instax has pretty shoddy build quality. That said, I enjoy using my 100, and they are relatively cheap second hand. The film is about £13 for 20 shots, which is about as cheap as instant photography comes at the moment.

They are a bit fierce in the sharpening department but I really like them.

Asha, I love the first shot, it really gives that wonderful 1940/50s feel, the contrast is good and the camera has performed well in your hands, congrats.

I love the look of the furniture.

Cheers Richard.....Glad you like......I do too!

When using older gear, I try to capture shots that are pretty "timeless" when possible, simply as for me it relates the shot more towards the era of the camera.

That said it's often difficult to avoid the "busyness" of modern life in the backgrounds.

That's a nice set Mid-gen :)

Another from a roll of Vista I developed the other day. Taken with the F75. I NEED a wider lens than a 28!

Thanks for looking :)

Like that very much Nick.....you don't need a wider lens, you just need to stand further back! :D

I could have laid on the floor but I don't think they would have approved!

Thanks, just been to a really nice little independent lab and picked a selection of Velvia, Provia, XP2, and some cheapo stuff with a funny cast! Looking forward to trying them out :)

Really like that one Asha it has a wonderful 3D feel to it.

Cheers Nick...it was the guy sat in the center that made the shot for me.....fortuanetly he was sat reading for some time as it took an age of waiting for the rest of the scene to clear of people.

Woohoo, first C41 development done!
