Lovely watch and a good choice - I reckon that's one of the nicest looking Tags. Is it as big as it looks?

it is big but not stupidly so (45mm across 1.7mm deep). Its nice and heavy too compared to my seiko kinetic auto relay and i love the ticking of the tag lol

My treasured Maurice Lacroix Pontos Decentrique Limited Edition GMT is in Germany at the moment being serviced. Never mind it gives me an excuse to wear my very best watch

After seeing the 'Seiko Orange Monster' on this thread, I'd quite like to get myself one.

Anyone selling one? or, know best place to buy one please?

The watch forum.co.uk or tz-uk.com. Or eBay of course.

I'm going to collect my Omega Seamaster tomorrow after work.. I have always dreamed of owning one

I wouldnt say its a posh watch, but its the most Ive spent on one (I usually end up breaking or losing watches)

p.s It proves I dont wear it much as the date is wrong on it :)

My Maurice Lacroix came back from repair this week but this one called to me! Have now traded the ML and at last got myself an IWC - thankfully Steffans pre-owned watch scheme is superb!

Worn daily and looking a little beat up

Lots of great watches here. Let me add one of mine to the mix, my Fortis B42 Cosmonaut Chronograph.

Not quite sure it qualifies as 'posh', but it cost £300 back in 2003, and was only available in the Far East. Europe had a stainless steel version, but being that I'm a full on materials whore, that wasn't good enough!
Mind you, even allowing for duty and VAT, which may've been on top of that figure (can't recall exactly), I still managed to save a fair bit.

I've never been hugely in to watches, (my daily wear is a Raymond Weil Tango), but I wanted to treat myself to the new Breitling for Bentley Light Body Midnight Carbon last week as there was one in the Breitling Shop in Orlando's Millenia Mall. (Limited edition of 1000).

I tried it on and it looked ridiculously large on me, like I was walking round with Big Ben strapped to my wrist. Well gutted. :|

speedmaster for the main watch

My main watch is a Breitling Bentley Motors T. A present to myself a few years ago. My other watch isn't as exotic but is special because it was never released after the initial trials, a Tissot PRS 200 with black face and silver sub dials :D

Keep being tempted by a Speedmaster but only because I have a bike that's got the same name. The watch would cost me more than the bike (for the model I want.) Got plenty of not posh watches that keep better time than my Dad's Rolex which seems to be my daily wearer these days, mainly because it benefits from being kept working (like all mechanical watches.)

Some lovely timepieces here folks!

My 40th Birthday prezzie from the wife

Interesting thread.
I notice in some of the earlier posts there's not much love shown for Raymond Weil watches.
I had a Freelancer 4 years ago for my 50th and I love it. Keeps excellent time, looks great (to me) and the leather strap is wearing-in nicely. It's my day-to-day watch, unless I'm doing anything I think may damage it - then my Seiko SQ-100 Titanium takes over.
I do like some of the RW range, and have a bit of a hankering to check out the 88 Rue du Rhone watches - I believe they're related to RW - as some of them look really good for the money.
