Slightly gutted that my new Tamron 17-50 hasn't turned up yet, but I was content in the knowledge that my new Sigma 50-150 2.8 was waiting for me at home after being delivered.
Just unpacked it and they've sent me a 150-500mm 5-6.3 instead! The packing slip says 50-150 as it should be. Now this isn't from a massive company like Warehousexpress, it's more of a 2-3 branch/online jobbie.
Two questions:
1) Given I already own this lens and don't need it, should I let them know of their mistake? This lens is about a £200 premium over the one I ordered!
2) If I am going to send it back, should I be super sneaky and compare this copy to the one that I got in Hong Kong earlier this year, and keep the sharper one?
I'm sure I'm going to hell for thinking either of the above, but I'd be intrigued to see what you other deviants / good folk think.
Cheers.
