My friend is selling the following for £410
cannon eos 1000d
tamron 80-250 fd lens with carry case
fd to eos adaptor
lowepro camera bag
original cannon carry bag
uv, pollar, florescent lens filters and case
velbon cx440 tripod
Camera is in great condition it's got shoulder strap, charger, manual, 18-55 lens with uv filter and cables for tv. Two carry bags for it one lowpro bag and the original cannon bag whats a bit bigger with more pockets for bits and pieces. The tamron fd 80-250 (80-250adaptall) lens is in good as new condition there's not a single mark on it.
Would this be a good camera for a total beginner? Would it give clear crisp portrait images? My interest in photography mainly would be portraits especially of children, would this camera be suitable? Would I need a different lens to give sharp images or would that be adequate? If I get into photography and shoot portrait images for free as practice would this camera be suitable for that and if I got into it more on a professional level would I need to buy a new camera or could I stick with this even for professional paid shoots? Is it a good price or is it worth buying a different camera?
Sorry for all the questions! Please help as need to let him know my the end of the week before he lists it online!
