Hi all
I have had my first DSLR a few months and think I am getting to grips with it.
I went on a trip to Lakes recently and managed to take some cracking landscape pics. When I returned I noticed a feint black line at top of pics, most noticable with sky at the top. Assuming it to be a hair or dust I used a home cleaning kit. It moved the main problem but seemed to move other bits of what I imagine is dust around.
I took it to a local Camera shop and they said they could sort it, upon my collection 3 days later they have said they cant sort it and again they just seemed to be moving dust around. They have given advice on where to send it but I have found what appears to be a reputable company online and sent my camera to them to fix. I'm a bit concerned it might be something more serious with the sensor and may cost a fortune to repair. Anyone got any experience with this and any advice how I can avoid it happening again if I do get it sorted.
Thanks
