Can anyone please help with the correct method of selecting paper type in the printer settings:
I set the correct icm profile (downloaded from the paper manufacturer's website) in LR's soft proofing and the print module, so LR should control the output.
When checking the print settings in the printer properties settings dialogue that appears after pressing "Print" in LR, the only paper options are the standard photo paper, matt, glossy, premium, fine art etc. There is no option to select the actual paper in use.
Does LR overwrite the basic printer settings and "tell" the printer which paper has been selected?
The system is:
Windows 10
LR CC
Canon Pixma Pro 100S
I'm new to printing and keen to get the best from what should be a good printer.
Thanks for your help,
Chris
