One of those things that you do not appreciate until its used.
Out on an impromptu walk yesterday afternoon, thought to myself that grass bank looks slippery be careful, next thing legs up in the air landed on my back and slid to the bottom camera in hand. The camera and I both covered in mud, and concerned by standers asking If I was ok - old age does that to people, which is strange as I don't think of myself as old. Anyway, camera cleared of mud though the lens had filled up and will take longer to revive, the rear screen had a significant chunk out of it, my first thought were new camera, I switched it on and behold the screen had not been damaged.
Thanks goodness for the screen protector I put on when I first bought it, saved me a few bob.

Now I just need to figure out how to get it off so I can fit a new one, all tips gratefully received.
