Daily Sarah's 365 31st December 2013 - The End! (CAN'T BELIEVE I'VE ACTUALLY FINISHED!!)

sarah your work is still breathtaking...yet all i can think about is going to leicester for the chocolate shop..
 
Colour is good, but bit of polishing gone on here as original file is noisy & hand held at low shutter speed. But I like the composition & colour, so will try again later in the week when back at work. Off to London tomorrow for the Amateur Photographer Magazine still life masterclass. Hopefully will get a shot of the day from that!
 
Nice last couple of shots Sarah - I daren't try one like 'candle on a glass plate' as I'd probably set fire to my light box.. :lol:

Todays as you say looks a really nice setting - would look lovely with the sun blazing through or dare I say it even covered in the white stuff... :D

The Shard

WOW is all I can say about this building & I luckily got to shoot it today from the 10th floor of the Blue Fin building in Southwark Street, when I had a day at Amateur Photographer Magazine on one of their masterclass days. This wasn't the subject, we were doing still life, but I shot this at lunch time from their roof garden.

nice - I particularly like the composition including the surrounding buildings for contrast :)
 
Rose: the colours, shape and form are really nice. Perfectly exposed of course. Another corker! :thumbs:
 
Hmmm, I keep being drawn to the one that is being speared by the skewer... but it is out of focus. Sorry to be negative. :(
 
I don't mind the focus TBH - it's the "head on" composition that makes it a bit "so so" for me - look tasty though :)
