Daily Sarah's 365 31st December 2013 - The End! (CAN'T BELIEVE I'VE ACTUALLY FINISHED!!)

Thanks both. Jim, it was taken in pano format on my compact, but I have taken a smidge off the top and bottom as well.

Thanks Sarah I knew it didn't look "quite right" - not even for the funky sensor ratios on the LX range :)

Looks like a Tussauds exhibit..... but less lively.... :naughty:

Nicely captured - you must have used quite a high shutter speed to freeze him like that I reckon.... :suspect:

Having a quick catchup after a hectic weekend :)

Love the tones in Wisteria cottage and the sunset is beautiful - but Bowler Hat man takes it for me :D

I'm all for the removal of double yellow lines :D

Peonies are to your normal standard

Gorgeous sunset and I love your still life flowers. Today's is really bright and clear too, although I did have to do a double take on what she was carving up at that scale! I'm sure it all tasted very nice but it does look a bit er... dodgy. Great DoF and focus anyway

Marble

Playing with flashes & gels tonight with our camera group, thanks for the help with the flashes to a friend of mine, I rarely use the flashes & triggers. I finally got the torch and the flashes to work properly after everyone left though.
Think I'm going to have to play around with this a bit more as the focus is slightly off on the marble.

Very nice - I've taken my fair share of marble shots too - the textured ones are good :D

Thanks both. I've had the flashes & triggers for a couple of years, but only ever used them for a couple of portrait shots & I'd bought the gels from ebay but not used them. I was amazed at the depth of colour that you can get with them. I now need to get some more marbles!
