Time

I love dandelion clocks, there is so much detail in them, from the delicate parachute ends to the spines on the seeds to help them stick. However, I don't love the fact that they blow in from the park and grow in the garden.

Feather

My shot for today, was meant to be of the birds in the garden, but every time I go near the window with the camera, the little sods fly off! No gratitude for all the grub they get here! Anyway, all that they left behind was this, so today, we have a feather.

Definitely, although the feeder is just outside the door of the conservatory, so think a bit of material with a hole in it hung from the door frame should do it.

I really like your feather shot. Mainly because of the colours, the grey against the pale wood works perfectly, and the different textures are great too!

Thanks Jim, not sure why the portrait shot, it just seemed to work when I had the feather on the board, I was moving it in all directions & that worked for me. As for the clip, well that was where the sellotape was holding it in position as it kept twisting onto it's side

Approaching Storm

At last I've found a couple of decent fields of oil seed rape. Even more of a bonus were the approaching storm clouds and the fact that they were going across my field of view & I didn't get rained on all evening.
