Daily Sarah's 365 31st December 2013 - The End! (CAN'T BELIEVE I'VE ACTUALLY FINISHED!!)

Oh that is lovely - really like the way you've arranged the darker shades to the back. The fallen petals are just purfect :)

Really nice image that Sarah. Just been outside to get some blossom shots whilst they are still on the tree. Didn't even think to bring some inside! Great work

St John's, Boughton Green.

Great light this evening, inky black sky and sunshine. When I opened this I thought there was a bit of a halo round the trees on the left, but it turns out to be a rainbow & the streaks in the sky? Well that was the rain and hail that his us a few seconds after I took this shot.

That's beautiful! I love the speckled light and the composition, and I just want to jump in and explore :)

And it has to be repeated, beautiful!

That's lovely - looks like you've got a double rainbow there - the one almost in the middle and another more over to the left?

Ted & Bun

Ted and Bun have been together for many years now, Bun is mine and is 47 and Ted is Andy's and is 51 & they have been sitting on the same bed together since 1987. They look a bit worse for wear now, poor Ted suffered badly in a whippet attack a few years ago and poor Bun needs darning again where he is falling to bits. But they still seem happy.

PMSL

Nice one and a lovely story :'( ;)

Ted and Bun, Awwww - what a lovely and touching story.

I actually nearly cried from laughing so much at the "whippet attack" comment.:'(

Lemons, oh what a beauty! the amazing textures of the lemons and the simple pattern of the bowl go together in a fabulous way. Clever. Go to the top of the class! ;)

Thanks all glad you liked the shots.

Sarah, got the bowl from a local art fair that's organised once a year in a local church. It's amazing, they get artists to exhibit, the prices are lower than galleries and part of the profits go towards the upkeep of the church building. We've been going for a few years now & luckily get an invite to the preview evening, so we can purchase before the weekend.

Bluebells

Went for a walk around Badby woods near Daventry this afternoon. If you are local & haven't been, I can highly recommend it, not much car parking though. We followed it with a drive round & through Fawsley, as there is some wonderful scenery around that part of the county.

Wow, such a pretty woodland scene. loving all these bluebells at the moment. I also really like the tones you've got with Ted & Bun.

Very pretty - woods and big trees are something I really miss from the UK, makes me proper envious :(

Thanks Tim, I just took the saturation down a bit. The bluebells are the first I've been out to this year, we drove past our usual wood last week and there was no sign of them, going to drive over again this week to see.

Lovely -lower viewpoint would be nice I think :)

Thanks Jim, I did try that, this patch was on a fairly steep slope, so was difficult to get the angle and get too low. This was taken from about a foot below eye level.

Thanks Sarah, I think I would really miss our tree and woods, but you do have some perks to living in a warmer climate :)

Thank you for the heads up on this location, I have this week off so will make my way over there, I hope I am able to capture as good an image as yours.
