Quick shot this afternoon after finishing, well almost finishing, the garden, all plants re-potted or top dressed, new plants in & bark chippings on border.
We are very lucky here in Northamptonshire to have some beautiful unspoiled villages, this one is Grafton Underwood & the stream runs the whole length of the village, which consists of only stone built and mainly thatched buildings.
Only problem really is to the left of the shot is the road that runs through the village, lined with parked cars.
Thanks all, it's always been one of my favourite local villages. We drove through on the bikes the other week, but I didn't have the camera with me. It's also just along the road from Geddington where there is a lovely medieval bridge & ford.
Thanks all, want to get out over the next couple of weeks, weather permitting to get some local shots, before I go into hospital for my leg op & I'm confined to the house, garden & short walk along the park.
Getting fed up with the rain at the moment & couldn't be bothered to go out in it to get my photo today, so this is looking at the rain rolling down the window with the pots and plants outside making a nice blur of colour.
Thanks Sarah, looking at the rain and dull grey sky was giving me no inspiration today, but then I happened to look at the flowers through the window & thought, that'll do
