Daily Sarah's 365 31st December 2013 - The End! (CAN'T BELIEVE I'VE ACTUALLY FINISHED!!)

Thanks Jake, only decent shot I got today. Went out to get a sunset at a watermill and the sunset was rubbish & there were diggers & cars round the mill. These were opposite in the field next too the lay-bye. Most kept doing lamby stuff at the other end of the field, but these gave a show. I did managed to get one cute shot though.

Air ambulance landing

Not just one shot today, but a series of 8, is that allowed? This afternoon, there was an almighty noise & I thought that's a bit loud for the usual police Helicopter, I looked out of the window & the air ambulance landed in the park, right outside my front door.

Didn't find out what or who, but they took a young girl onto it, she was well strapped onto a board with head restraints, so hope she was ok. We are not far from our local A&E so very unusual to see this.

Ah right! Fingers crossed!
2 arrested in my street and all 3 police cars have left the scene! I missed the sunset because I was being nosey. Whoops

Jake, as soon as I heard it landing I was whizzing about changing the lens & getting a card in the camera. Yesterdays shot was going to be some interiors of a house I'd done for work, so I had to change from the wide angle to the 24-105 & whizz out of the front door :)

Thank you Jim :)

Right, am going to try to catch up on everyone's threads today as I'm a bit less busy today. It's been a mad week.

Very nice shot - though I suggest that you might want to clean out your jugs more regularly..... :suspect:

Cracking sunset shot (s)

And I especially like the tulip - you do flowers so well :)

The Ambulance set is great, Sarah - that last one looks like a toy! Which makes me feel slightly more uneasy about the ever-so-slight-(remote)-possibility I may ever have to use one!

The flowers work well with that jug, very quaint, country looking! and French!

Thanks Sarah, I do enjoy single flower studies.

Sam, I know what you mean, it did look really small, but 3 people plus casualty got in it! Must have been like a game of tetris.

That's a lovely shot! The heads are haloing a tad by the looks of it!

Thanks Jake, that was an intentional glow I added to the flowers to make the whites glow a bit.

Love Belle Fleur............very shabby Chic....

Thanks Vince, that was the idea, although hubby hates that look :)

Derelict

Thanks to a friends daughter for letting me know the way in here :) I didn't go in today, just shot this bit that is above the fencing, there was an odd man in a van parked up the road and this is a bit out of the way.
Amazing looking building that I will try to revisit later in the year.

Oooh that does look a very promising place to investigate - think I'd want to go with someone else though ;)

Ah, that looks like it's begging to be explored! I'd love to find an abandoned building.. especially something like a hospital or a school!

The flowers in the jug is gorgeous too. Love your still life photos!

Nice - always a shame to see such previously grand places derelict though :)

Thanks Toni, this was a school at one time, just the shell left now though. Although the other wing is some kind of church/homeless place, looks a bit odd.

Thanks Jim, apparently it was a fire that did for this place, but it is stunning and most of the parkland is still there.

Great photo - sneeky-peek of things to come! Looking forward to what you get when you go in there! :)

Hey Sarah, quick catch up again...

2nd April - that made me howl laughing :D, great shot.

3rd April - amazing set of shots, nice work

4th April - really nice shot, works well

5th April - definitely worth a re-visit and a good old nosey around :D

Particularly like the last of your helicopter shots Sarah.
Your flower shot is as immaculate as always and love the look of that old building, there is bound to be some great potential for shots there.
