Daily Sarah's 365 31st December 2013 - The End! (CAN'T BELIEVE I'VE ACTUALLY FINISHED!!)

Sarah love the st mary's shot , great composition

Thank you Vince

Great shot Sarah, I will have to stop there sometime myself.

I go past it all the time on the bike but by the time I'm at the top of the hill, photography is the last thing on my mind

I know what you mean Brian, I used to time keep for the local cycling club & that hill was on one of our race circuits & I also used to photograph them going up the hill, so I know that you wouldn't have photography on your mind after getting up there! :)
Nice to hear from another local photographer as well.

Lovely looking church - are we going to get some internal shots?

I will try sometime this year, it is locked, but there is a note about a keyholder on the notice board.

i'm not a coffee drinker sarah... but i'm always fascinated by these contraptions...it might be the chrome appeal you've captured beautifully.

Think so, have been looking at the Photographers Ephemeris & there are sometimes of the year that the sun sets just behind the tower from this angle, so will have to work out when & hope for a good one :)

That would be quite beautiful

Todays is lovely far shinier than my machine is ;)

I love today's, Sarah - great machine! So much to see in that piece of kitchen equipment, works well with white cups and I like the DOF as well....I might need to look into these yummy chrome drinks machines, even though I don't drink coffee! :D

Like that a lot Sarah, the clock/pressure guage in the background attracts my attention for some reason.

Thanks Sarah, I shall add it to my list :) As for the machine, I did get the polish out :)

Thanks Sam, trouble is, since we had it, we drink too much coffee :(

Coffee shot is nice :)

Thanks Jim

Thanks Phil, I wanted to get it in as I quite liked it, even thought of doing a selective colour for the coffee & red bands on the pressure gauge, but it looked a bit naff :)

Oooh lush!!! Adore chrome and a true coffee addict!

Run Sarah, run! They are kinda cool and also kinda scary!

Nice spot Sarah - the clipped roofline spoils it a bit for me though (as you might have guessed by now ;)) - a more "deliberate/obvious" crop might have helped - or a close crop composition on one of the figures maybe ? - they are pretty cool though.... :)

Jim

Oh my god, it's a tin man invasion! Great find, Sarah! :)

Thanks Jim, just out shopping & only had my compact on me, so couldn't get a closer side view, could get a back view, but you didn't get the separation from the wall. I suppose I could have kept the roof if I'd gone a tad wider, but then I felt the figures were too small. It was just one of those shoot & run shots. Might be worth stopping there if out with a zoom to get closer to them.

Thanks Sam :)

Oh my - how completely random

They are a bit aren't they.

Leaf in the snow

Despite not leaving the house today, as had friends round this morning & then lunch & being lazy, I had to panic round a bit to think of something to shoot & saw this leaf in the garden when I was taking some stuff out to the bin & thought I'd put it in a nice bit of snow to photograph.

Love those tin men I want some lol!

Leafs ace too, great detail

Brilliant shots Sarah - Love the Tulip and the Mono. Not too sure if I would like the aliens on my house

Loving that everyone else is now getting the snow we've had for a while now

I really like the leaf, great detail in there, especially how we can see the flakes in the snow across it, love those flakes at the top! :)

I like the Leaf shot - nice simple composition - beautifully exposed :)

Thank you Jim.

Nice Sarah, great detail.

Thanks Phil.

Very nice - snow is white and it's all very crisp and sharp

Cheers Sarah, I'm getting to the point where I really need some sunshine though.

The coffee shot makes a great mono! I like it, and it would look great on the wall of a coffee shop or in the kitchen. The tin man invasion is a great spot, and some nice wall design! I like the contrast between the leaf and the snow! :)

Again stunning Sarah! I do love your still life's they are always so beautifully sharp and such detail

Oh, I really like this one - the tones of it are lovely - your flower shots always remind me of those olde fashioned botanical prints :D
