Daily Sarah's 365 31st December 2013 - The End! (CAN'T BELIEVE I'VE ACTUALLY FINISHED!!)

gorgeous shot Sarah :)

Really like that Sarah! :)

Thanks Jake,

Wow Sarah that looks amazing!... really like that

Cheers Trace.

Yep another thumbs-up from me - take a chainsaw or a branch lopper with you next time ;)

LOL, I like the trees, add to the mysterious air of the place :)

That's gorgeous Sarah. The colour of the bricks against the sky is beautiful.

Thanks Toni, they are a lovely colour, local stone I think.

gorgeous shot Sarah :)

Thanks Carol

Lovely, not overprocessed at all to my mind :)

Cheers Sarah.

I seem to have missed the flowers on my last visit - lovely colours and really like the use of the poison bottle with them, I think the light background works just fine with it.

I love the folly and you have got great detail in there - I hadn't noticed that slant until you pointed it out! :) Looks great in the edit.

Ah yes, I hadn't noticed it before, but now - much better

Certainly looks better now the wonk is straight up :P

Thanks all, shooting close up to it at 17mm did create a bit of wonkyness :) I'd just not got that tower right in the first edit. So glad it looks better. :)

Great idea and mono and grain effect works well- think I'd have cropped right back to just leave the aircraft silhouette :)

Thanks Jim, I'm not too overkeen on the grain, the processing really brought it out along with the detail in the sky. I wanted lots of background to give it some space to move into and around, if that makes sense.

Yes - see what you mean - the grain almost gives that "old newsreel film" feel though which works quite well I think and thought that was what you were after - DOH! :bang:

...regarding the space thing - then perhaps some of that Photoshop Magic to clone out the stub ? <wash my mouth out>

You're doing better than me with getting out properly! Well done.... I like this tho looks good , almost a moodiness too it

Some great shots here, In a non-creepy way, I like the "Very Still Life" as you said, the colours are beautful, it's just a real shame it couldn't fly away afterward. Really like the contrasting idea of beauty and death in the Poison / Flowers shot. Also like the shot of "Folly" and you've done well to bring out the detail in the horribly dull sky that seems to be never ending, roll on Summer! Keep up the great work :)

Love the abstract pattern - do much prefer it without the red section though :)

Thanks Jim, needed the splash of colour, don't think I could cope with the uniform dull grey today.

Thanks Chris, glad you liked them.

They obviously went to the pub at lunchtime! lol!.... great angle Sarah.

Car Park is brilliant! It's good to see Mr Magoo managed to find a job!:lol:

Thats interesting Sarah, I would never have thought of that shot. Nice lines despite the wonky workmanship.

Really like that - but flippin' eck what crap workmen

Makes for an interesting abstract

Thanks all, this makes me laugh every time we go to Milton Keynes.

Nice find Sarah! :) Good subject, well lit, good dof and nicely composed!

Thanks Jake, just natural light in the conservatory again.

Very nice - works well with that surface :)

Thanks Jim, they are some stone tiled coasters I've got, you can use one, or group them together for a bigger surface :)
