Daily Sarah's 365 31st December 2013 - The End! (CAN'T BELIEVE I'VE ACTUALLY FINISHED!!)

Oh he's cute!!!!!!...... how did you manage to get him to keep still? the last 2 times i have seen my parents i've tried capturing one of their dogs but if as soon as i get on the floor she's in my face charging at me lol

Trace, captured milliseconds of stillness :) I know him quite well & he loves his Auntie Sarah & gets horribly excited when I go round as I will play with him, so it's getting over the first bit & then if I tell him to wait, he will. Also, I sat on the sofa & the camera was on the floor using live view, so I could see the composition, just about :)

He's gorgeous Sarah, great angle!

He is isn't he, so much more lively than the whippets I used to have.

lovely pooch - a "not so still life" today eh ? :)

LOL Jim, definately not still life!

awesome god photo! Very sharp and great lighting on him too. They are hard to keep still.

Thank you and yes, they never seem to stop.

Brilliant - I love the tongue hanging out there! :)

I know, so cute, I didn't get his really tired face which is really funny as he pants & lifts his lips showing his teeth, looks like he's smiling. Going to try that one in the park in the summer.

he is so cute :) and a brilliant shot - great light and focus on him

Thank you Carol.

Sarah..that is amazing - great focus, sharp and great PP....this is such a favourite for me. I love it.

Thanks Sam, didn't get round didn't get round to taking this until the light had gone, so rather long exposure. But we are looking at buying a house at the moment that needs rather a lot of work, so bit busy at the moment! PP was running the RAW through CS5, then using my favourite NIK filters and then just adding a texture layer to the background. I enjoy doing this as I find it relaxing, which at the moment is a big help! :)

Stunning Sarah

Completely lovely - sharp, excellent lighting and the background compliments it really well - big like from me :D

Sttunning Sarah!!!... and now i know what Helebores are i may have to pop down the road to coton manor as i saw a sign saying they are open with these and snow drops!

Thank you both. Trace, Coton Manor is lovely, but no tripods allowed.

I seem to remember reading that but had forgotten!..not too much coffee before I go then

Oh wow that is really beautiful, processing is bang on the money

Oh! - wish you hadn't told me that - you Photoshop Witch you..... :suspect:

LOL, OK then Jim, it's all real :) I collect backgrounds to use that I've photographed or some that I've bought or from share sites. But I use them at a low opacity, so that the real wall behind is there too, I just like to add a bit of texture to a plain background. I'm a bit of a processing addict :)

Dont know how I missed your last 2 Sarah, they are both great. Cool shot of the dog and the hellebore is fantastic.

Burn The Witch! :bat: :exit:

Just catching up Sarah - some great shots! Love the one of Banjo and the angle being down on his level. And I really like yesterdays flower shot and think the texturing on the background really works for this one.

Haha that's fab! I would like to see a recreation of the infamous twins scene from The Shining with those 2 though :p

Brilliant and great idea Sarah :D Poor Thumper having to watch that :( Hope they get away before Rip and Tear decide whether they are going to play or not :)

haha love that shot from today. My daughter plays with toys like this and then you hear "do you want some milk? Or to eat my friend?"

Playing catch up Sarah..

Love the Valhalla shot, very creative.

Return To Sanity - get the idea behind it but I'm with others in that I'm not sure about the cone, great composition with the monument though

Great dof on the mackerel shot, lol and vodka??? Naaaa that's breakfast where I come from ;), a great shot nonetheless.

Really loving the sky in your tree shot, thank god for a decent day of sunshine :), and the monument shot in mono is just beautiful & nice and sharp.

The roses shot is a little cracker, the lighting really is spot on in that shot, and Banjo is just WOW. Well lit, pin sharp focus on the eyes and he's just gorgeous.

Back to the flowers and the Hellebore shot, just excellent work as usual, really like the look of that, and the woodland animals collection gave me a smile, love it.

That made me smile Sarah. i love playing like that.. at xmas i did i a snowman series for my boy and he loved it!

Brilliant Sarah , that poor little Deer

He's ok, survived to play another day.

...just remember I will be watching.... :suspect:

LOL, you'll be ok with today's shot as well. Not taken it off the camera yet, but shot it just after midnight and again this morning.

I like it Sarah! I hope you're going to keep the story going!

Certainly am Jake, got a couple of new characters as well.

I have to admit not talking to them whilst shooting as I was outside in the park.
