weekly *Sarah* 2012 52 week challenge. Yippee I made it!!

Hi, when I first saw them I thought you'd superimposed them in PS!

Like them, especially #2.

Just looked at #2 again and laughed.

Thanks. :thumbs::thumbs:

Thanks Andy, I think it would of been easier to have superimposed them but not half as much fun! I couldn't have taken anymore shots as the running track was getting a bit wrinkly from the damp and slime!!:lol:

That's great work, well done Sarah. ;)

Thanks Alby!:)

Money - Great shot. Nicely composed and spot on sharp

Win - Great planning on this one. Definitely needed to think ahead to de-hibernate (there must be a better word than that). All I can say is don't work with children and snails.

Hi Sarah,

What a great shot for win,an excellent idea! Second shot is my favourite, looks like a lap of honor!

It was surprising how tricky WIN was as a topic, I don't think I would ever had thought of snail racing let alone act on such an impluse. An inspired photograph and dedication to complete the weeks challenge :-)

Thanks everyone, i will get onto it tomorrow, i dont want to hijack this thread anymore.

I have decided to put up two this week but think I know which one I'll be going for.

I took the first one last Saturday when I went to Clarence Dock it's of the Clarence dock carppark.
The second one I decide to take earlier this week when one of the children came into my class and proudly showed off his shiny new shoes which lead to this shot. I'm not happy with the lighting on this one and had planned to retake it but unfortunatly I was sent home from work with yet another bug:( and have now run out of time this week!

Hi Sarah. I'm not sure on the car park shot as I can't seem to figure out what I'm looking at (my brain is fried on pain killers though so maybe not the best critic):bonk:

I like your shoe shot. Although I read your post before seeing the shot and expected to see boys shiny shoes:nuts: I think the lighting is fine and the composition too:thumbs:

Dam these winter bugs! Get well soon.

Hi Marsha, Thanks for taking the time to comment especially when you are going through such a rough time - I do hope you are feeling better soon! If you look at my flickr there are some more pics of the carpark which might help to explain it better than me - brain is totaly frazzled at the moment as well!:cuckoo: Thanks!:)

Hi Sarah,

Its a shame 'entomology' was not this week's subject there are so many 'bugs' about on TP - it could of made a great theme - I really hope your on the mend and well done for getting a good result even though you were feeling poorly.

'Shiny' - like the placement of the heel and composition and they work well against the black background. Nice work

Thanks Nick, it's the worst year I've known for bugs not had anything for years and now had everything since Jan, I'm not a good patient!!:)

I'm ok with the composition but will try and improve the lighting - I was going to use a white background but wanted to push myself and try black on black prob not the best idea when my patience was else where!!:cuckoo:

Morning Sarah, time to play catch up after being too bloomin busy with work to come on here...damn you employment:razz::razz:;)

WIN - absolute genius of an idea, 2 brilliant shots and your perseverance pays off, hahaha even down to cleaning the snails with a toothbrush...brilliant :D

SHINY - like the look of the 1st one, but the shoes wins it for me

Thanks Simon, I'm hoing to catch up on everyone elses pics this afternoon!!:)

Like both shots. both say shiny to me. The shoes one is nice, imagine you could get some really good angles and compositions given more patience!

The CD one is good too, like the light reflection in the waves.

Thanks Alex, I have decided to choose the shoe one - it was my favourite but you have all confirmed this!!

Now on to this weeks!!:)

My Flickr issues continue, I'll check out your photo stream on the pc at some point!

I am on the mend now thankfully, just exhaustion and rib pain left! The drugs have knocked my brain out of gear though.
My iPhone has been abused these last two weeks, I've followed along with everyones threads through the blur!

I know this feeling, I've been sickly all winter! I'm popping all sorts of multi vits now to get better!

Spring is here now, may the winter bug be gone!

I'm playing catch up this week due to not coming up with anything I was happy with for Shiny and won't post the one I have come up with last night 'til I've gone through everyone elses.

Shiny - I'm not getting the first one at all, I like it as it makes me look and try to figure out what it is but it's too abstract for shiny in my opinion.

However, the second shot with the shoes is a winner here. Lovely composition, nice and clean and lightings lovely.
