Thank you Marsha, I'm back to as normal as I can be now, the sea air is a marvelous healer!! I did go back to the same beach hoping to get some different shots of seaweed but unfortunatly the tide was coming in and I didn't want to risk it!!
 
I like that one Sarah, there are some lovely colour tones in there with great detail too. Well spotted and sensible decision to avoid an incoming tide :)

Industry – Nicely seen and well handled in what was fairly poor lighting conditions

Root - Love this shot. Great colours with the detail and focus spot on where it needs to be
 
A very nice take Sarah and a good interpretation of 'root' the colours are great and I think has worked better than a mono image.

Thank you, I wasn't too sure if it looked a bit magenta but went back to look at the pics I took and they all looked this colour!:)
 
Here's my photo for this weeks theme handmade. This is one of my latest knitting projects which has slowed down alot recently because of all the time I spend on here!!:) I quite like the colours of this wool and really need to finish this cardi so that I can wear it before the summer comes!

Sweet

The love hearts is a lovely shot, dof spot on and wonderful reflections too. Also love the Blackpool rock shot, the colours in that are excellent and vibrant.

Secure

Love both of these shots, especially the way the hedgehog is peeping out in the first one. Wonderful dof in the 2nd one too.

Industry

Again a cracking shot, bang on theme too :thumbs:

Root

Nice colours and some cracking detail in that shot too, like it.

Handmade

Again, spot on with the theme, nice clean shot, simple yet effective and wonderful colours again.

You are obviously a woman with many talents Sarah, photographer, knitter :D
I like your handmade image, lovely colours in there, also the texture the image has to it gives a 3D effect. Good work on the composition too, it works well. All round :thumbs: from me Sarah. Iain

Thanks Iain, I had originally taken a photo of some red knitting ( I'm knitting 2 'Where's Wally' hats for us to wear at school for book day) but felt that the cardi would be better with the colours.
 
Root, I'm liking the close pov on the roots and how they are almost alien like. Something about the processing doesn't feel right, though. It looks over exposed.

Handmade, liking the landscape format and composition. Great colours and focus.

Hi Andy, thanks for your comments. I keep looking at the root one and wondering about it, I'm not sure whether its the exposure or the odd colour from the reddy seaweed. I might relook at it sometime but it doesn't bother me too much!!:)

Hi, home made is a cracker. Well composed and nice detail in the fibres. Nice and sharp with good detail and the shadows adds to the depth.

Been difficult again this week. I had a couple of ideas in mind but then got ill again ( the joy of working in reception class), the sun came out today and I managed to get this shot. I'm not all that happy with it and might go back to it another time but time is running out.
