Daily Samuelslade007 Year Two 365 - 342 Twilight

thanks sam.... i um'd and ah'd over the make up.... then went for it... in reality it was pants..but i slapped it on thick...thought about red lippy..but knowing me it would end up like proper lips and nothing like the Joker..

You looked like death and red would have stood out well, but you made the right choice BECAUSE (why the heck did my shorthand get naughtied out???) *** it would have detracted too much from the evil egg timer in front of your face!

Day 152 Making Money

Day 152 365 TP Making Money by Kev_H, on Flickr

“They were indeed what was known as 'old money', which meant that it had been made so long ago that the black deeds which had originally filled the coffers were now historically irrelevant. Funny, that: a brigand for a father was something you kept quiet about, but a slave-taking pirate for a great-great-great-grandfather was something to boast of over the port. Time turned the evil *******s into rogues, and rogue was a word with a twinkle in its eye and nothing to be ashamed of.”

Day 154 Richard III

Day 154 365 Richard III 01 by Kev_H, on Flickr

"....But I’m not made to be a seducer, or to make faces at myself in the mirror. I was badly made and don’t have the looks to strut my stuff in front of pretty sluts. I’ve been cheated of a nice body and face, or even normal proportions...."

152, nice take and interpretation of the text there - good lighting and composition, really, really like this and it could be applied to so many situations!

153, take 2 is a clear favourite for me, although I swung back and forth a number of times, it's hard in some respects because I have no clear context for it. In other ways that actually helps me decide in what i feel works better, the second is a little more discreet and I would have liked just a little bit of the teeth we see in V1 showing, but I think it's the more powerful with the processing on the eyes.

154 - obviously, that's the best Sp I've seen of you, even if it cheapens you (Primark??? FFS!!!)....seriously, though, another great one, good lighting and angle, great focus on your eye through the bag and fits well with the text and also with what history says about him!:)

I've enjoyed this catch up, great well thought out photos yet again! :)

And still the great portraits keep coming. I really like the feet of clay image, can't quite say why though.

Richard III is my fave though, although Carpe Jugulum II makes me want a jam doughnut...

Yes sam.. it was the only bag i had to hand ... the idea came to me thinking of Sylvester the cat and his son always being embaressed by him.. and donning the bag..

I struggled with the vampire look... moreso with the blood...as it smelled worse than it tasted,... AND tasted foul in the first place...

..and making money... the hardest part was making the note look convincing enough to be have been drawn

:thumbs::thumbs:

i am OFF jam donuts Tim... OFF them... that ISN'T jam i had drank!!

Not keen on the Carpe Jugulum ones at all :( But I do think you'd have been better off with jam ;)

Making money is excellent and Primark ¿Why?

Didn't have jam...MUCH the disgust of daughter when I came to Sunday dinner and yorkshire puds ...and no jam..

....I don't shop IN primark ... I don't need therapy...honest..

Yorkshire pud and jam - I've not eaten since I was a wee thing :D Must remember to make extras next time I do them :D

This is the second time we've had no jam...I've been warned...a third time ...AND!!! ..... There will be consequences!!! .. it is delicious right!!

*Nods head and drools* only to be beaten by crumble and custard or a good LMP :D

Crumble and custard is on the menu most months..variety of killings is quite narrow..but nothing is left.....but I have no idea what a LMP is??

Day 155 Richard III 02

Day 155 365 Richard III 02 by Kev_H, on Flickr

ANNE: And you’re not suited for any place except hell
RICHARD: Yes, and one other place, if you’ll only let me name it.
ANNE: Some dungeon.
RICHARD: Your bedroom!!
ANNE: There is no rest to be had in any bedroom where you are!
RICHARD: Exactly, madam, until I sleep with you.

Sweet work Kev as always !!

Thanks vince...should I spoil the attraction of the character by removing the bag as his popularity gathers...!!

Anyone else reminded of the man with the big stick from the vic and Bob show??

Excellent, that is a good one and yes I did think of the man with the stick.

It occurred to me last night looking at the bag.... I did think id find a different a text but went with what I had...thankfully the sun is coming out so I can remove the bag...maybe.

Kev, I'm always a mix of amazed at the maintained quality you put out but shocked at some of the scary things that make there way out of your mind, I can see that one day there will be a report of a man in a black leather trench coat full of WII Guns

Hah! Oh boy, 155 is awesome!! Lot's of really imaginative shots yet again. I seem to say that every time I come in here... but it's true! Great imagination gone into these mate

Day 156 Richard III 03

Day 156 365 Richard III 03 by The Potato Printing Store, on Flickr

CLARENCE: It’s your job in life to kill the innocent? What did I do wrong? Where’s the evidence against me? Where’s the jury, the judge, the lawful proceedings, the verdict? Who pronounced this death sentence before a court of law could even convict me? For you to threaten to kill me is most unlawful. If you hope to have your sins forgiven by Christ’s dear blood, which He shed for our terrible sins, you must leave and keep your hands off me. You’ll go to Hell for the deed you’re planning to do.

Day 157 Richard III 04

Day 157 365 Richard III 04 by The Potato Printing Store, on Flickr

SCRIVENER: Here’s the indictment of the good Lord Hastings, which has been written out in a clear hand, like any legal document, so it can be read aloud in public outside St. Paul’s Cathedral.
