Daily Samuelslade007 Year Two 365 - 342 Twilight

I'm really enjoying the series! Day 168 works incredibly well for me, too. Each "you" is placed perfectly within the frame.

To be honest it was a rush job..I want to try other object..other than myself but I love the overlapping areas...something...mystical....

Ok !!..that's enough weirdness...!! ..

Day 168 is a great shot Kev but oh no not 3 of you can the world cope !!

They needed volunteers for the unmanned space journey to mars... So how could I refuse a challenge..Im going as a dog handler for the mars rover..

Day 168 is "interesting" not sure if it gets a  or a

I like the overlapping areas, like you only have substance when all three are joined - almost expect you all to 'swoosh' back into one person...

thanks lynn... the overlapping areas are neat.. it wasn't until afterwards i too see a beauty in them..

Nice work as always, nice to see something a bit different from you in the form of the night and day photo's  very good, but it's still the difference and variety you put up in your SP's that gets me

thanks matt... i too wanted a change from the norm..the SPs.. and day and night did that for me... the end of Richard the III helped.. i went lateral with that shot.. the one shot multiplicity is carrying on that break.. granted the first was an SP..but the rest will be different.

... i keep thinking i need to try wire wool... but never get the time nor the gear together... then there's the trek to the back of beyond... BUT i did see a shot someone did on flickr.. literally on his decking i think... so fast in such an enclosed space.. guy was insane..but brave!

Shucks it's nothing :D

What's your exif data on these, I tried to look at it on Flickr - but it doesn't show?

i accidently kept my settings on jpg, so this might account for the data not being there.. as over the weekend i was at an event which didn't need any data..

from memory i was shooting ISO 100 f9-11 (maybe) for at least 15 secs... firing flash manually three times ..

Thanks  It's interesting to learn these things :)

Doing another catch-up! :) (I'll need to cut my hours to part time if I keep doing this!)

156 - 159...another great set and all well composed, well lit and well thought out - I really like 156, that feeling of isolation and despair is captured perfectly! 157 and 158 - you look like a uni tutor or doctor or something! Very intellectual...I think it must be the glasses!

161 - 7 - great concept for a set of photos and one which even takes you outside! :D Some cracking shots here! I particularly like 162 and 166 and the day one from 165 :)

I like 168 and 169, but prefer the first of these.

thanks sam for the big feedback... and yes...i think its the glasses!

Once again Kev the level of work maintains a very high level of thought , great concepts keep appearing !!

Brilliant

I'm trying to be olde school.... Someone looked at the plate shot and said why didn't I do it in photoshop? ... And with my knowledge..id had to have taken three shots for the plate...the floor..the first position..the second position...here...I cut out two photos and work in layering and masking and who knows what...

I think what made the fridge shot for me is twigging onto the fact I had to direct the flash light using back card..and lengthen the exposure to I think 20secs ..

Thanks

It's all very interesting, but then the double exposure is.

There's more stuff on the outside of the fridge than the inside - get thee to the shops :D

Its supposed to be empty...the focus is on the object inside that you can see... :D

Another great couple of photos!

I like 3 and the floor you used works well as a background, but I like 4 better! I have that same measuring jug magnet on my fridge! And I let you off for having Vegemite mentioned on there :gag:
