Quick quick....
I'm off to Amsterdam(age) this weekend, so yesterday, I took a trip to my local Natwest to order some currency (I am a Natwest account holder at another branch). I asked for £150 worth, to which she said 'it'll be £145.57, for 160 Euros, is that OK. I said yes and she said OK, that'll come out of your account immediately, you can collect them tomorrow, ie today.
I've since spotted that Natwest's rate is 1.09 which is way below the going rate for Euro's - the post office are 0.03 Euro's better at 1.12 or 4 Euros for the transaction in question. Now I know it ain't a big difference, but where do I stand with regards to asking for a refund, as I feel I'm being ripped off, even if just a little??
