I have been using RM special delivery for years now to get the £500 insurance for peace of mind.
However recently I had a package sent to me by RM and the packet was ripped and contents was ripped / damaged.
So I contacted RM chat to sort it out and basically it was not straight forward and involved getting a lot of proof and receipts etc....
Anyway I then thought well if I pay £10 - £20 to send expensive equipment and have no receipt of purchase ( i.e I bought it used or lost the receipt ) then if the item
gets damaged or lost will I be able to claim anything. And if it goes lost, how can I prove what was in the package and it value.
I'm curious because I get the feeling now that RMSP is only special in a very narrow set of circumstances, otherwise it is a waste of money and covers you for nothing
