Do you really wish to play spelling and grammar poker?
You might consider a little sentence structure before pointing out a typo simply because you're annoyed by someone's (rather accurate, it would appear) post.
Such as?Does this thread not prove the point of some of what's been said in the improvements post?
I'm guessing the 3rd law of sod, which states threads in OoF will stay on track for more than a pageSuch as?

It's also daft that it's posts based, so a lot of questions or negotiations will affect the number of posts

Should be nothing in comparison to other activity on the site I would have thought...Admittedly it can be tough on the stats when tyre kickers ask a bunch of questions and those who've no intention of buying pass inane comments. A simple sales post can soon become a couple of pages worth.

I really don't get that argument, so you have time to be in the classifieds but not to be anywhere else? Sounds like craigslist or ebay are perfect for you then....Lots of great apps for ebay on a mobile phone where you can do the whole process whilst on the move in your busy life.In an ideal world where we all have lots of time, you're right.
I rarely sell anything anywhere TBH,Sounds like someone just wants a free sale site![]()
I rarely sell anything anywhere TBH,
But recently I did use eBay to sell something sold for £55 Free P&P came out at just over 4 quid,
Ebay fees £5.50 and a couple of quid PP fees,
No wonder TP classifieds is so attractive to the regular sellers Eh?![]()
I did see the pictures, and yes nice, but a bit small for my tastes,Ive got a green motorbike coming up soon, suit you nice
I understand why it was done but sure it does affect the amount of interest those sale items get
I also think new people to the forum cannot get involved in the access to good kit route which they would benefit from.
So this isn't the thread to go if you're looking for a headstone?
No, it's unrealistic pricing that does that. Price an item right and the classifieds will get you all the interest you need.I understand why it was done but sure it does affect the amount of interest those sale items get

Stick it on Ebay, I'm sure someone will want it

Noted, your choice on what to appreciate or not...Doesn't change the situation though....Its very simple, the rule is contribute and you can sell free of charge, don't and you won't....Simples...I don't appreciate your tone, sarcasm, nor your inferences. I actually wasn't referring to me but sympathising with others. I personally have no problem with my trading stats.

42 and 51. Hmm.
I'll keep looking for a headstone.
It does make you wonder, huh? Good spot, Ken. So dejongj has now limited his profile but if I'm to understand this right, he(she) has over 9k posts and a trading stat of 51% and is suggesting regular TP members use Craigs List and the likes instead? You couldn't make it up.
Not Dejongi, he's on 1%.
I like being firstNot Dejongi, he's on 1.

Everyone is a regular member, there are no special onesWell not unless you know where to leave the Jaffa Cakes....This is not some personal vendetta, surely the Admin and Mod team make transparent rules such that they are ahem transparent and applicable to all...
