ah, another band I saw in the (very) early years... did a handful of pub gigs before they got the initial deal for (iirc) an EP, they played a local pub and we went to see them, more to check out the pub as we'd been booked to do a gig there 3 days later...

first saw them in 1980, firmly in the Paul DiAnno era - 17 at the time. Pretty sure I've never seen them since - strange to think they're a major stadium act yet I saw them at Wakefield Unity Hall, promoting their first LP

Saw them at Hammersmith Odeon in my teens too, wasn't that far from me at the time so went to quite a few live concerts.
Mind you I also was at a local Social Club when Showwaddywaddy appeared, long before they became famous (did I really admit to that )
