Alas it seems updating my Camera Raw in CS5 to match my 5Dmk3 has brought with it an issue. The issue did not rear its ugly head until the purchase of an 85mm 1.8 primarily for shooting portraits a lot of which will be from f2-2.8. After some testing it turns out that this lens was manufactured by Cadburys ( such is the amount of purple ) and i now have no sliders to remove the fringing in Camera Raw , the profile auto and defringe options have very little effect in melting the chocolate. I cannot roll back to previous versions as the 5d3 was not supported and i do not believe CS5 supports newer versions.
Are there any great solutions out there to fast removal of PF without destroying other parts of the photo or farting around painting stuff out , or am i going to be forced into purchasing a new version of PS.
