weekly Reanimated 52 - Fit/Water added... 2013 done.

Interesting shot, now who's kidney did you sell!

Just catching up, nothing to say other than fantastic! I love your creativity and processing

The second two shape shots are stunning... both wall material for me.

Horn of plenty gets the vote for me, I particularly like how the horn is both in and out of focus at different points.

I think all the plenty shots are great, the last in particular is really interesting but I wish it were a little brighter

Of the three I actually prefer the butterflies, although I have no idea what they are!

Plenty #1 is well exposed and nice colours. Bit busy iMO

#2 is a cracker. I Like the contrast between the curves of the horn and the straight lines of the money. Crit, I'd rather the shadows from he horn weren't there. Oh, and give me that horn :D

#3, yeah, like it. Very restfully and the b&w works well, as does the texture on here hands. Tad of the RHS, I feel.

Good show...and gimme that horn :bat:

Hi Tony :)

Plenty - A cracking set, my fav is torn between 2 and 3, I like the first shot but the right side seems a bit lacking... Horn of plenty, Love that love the way the 'horn' goes in and out of focus through it's length, nice sharp point and notes!!! - Plenty of time, nicely set up, your usual excellent PP work and lighting too !!!

Right... has to be horn of plenty

Andy means Right Hand Side.

Anyway: It's the Horn shot for me, I like the way the money curls remind me of smoke and the horn reminds me of a pipe.

Shooting and PP are subjective and I know you know what you are doing so no comment there.

PS. Please can you link your posts on the main thread? Saves everyone else hunting. :)

Hi Tony :)

Speed - For me the second one doesn't do a thing for me photographically unless I'm missing something

The train shot is really nice, good movement on the train and plenty of interest in the rest of the shot :)

Hurrying Through, well for me that is the easy winner, really like how you have done that

The tunnel shot's a beauty, the stuff of movie posters. No crit as such, just a great image.

That train shot looks a bit of a challenge, you want long shutter speed, and shallow DOF for it to work....... At ISO 100 it's always going to be a balancing act.

I'd like it more (not that I don;t already) with a slower shutter (or faster train ), but appreciate this wouldn;t have been that easy to do!

Hi, now #1, like it. With the maxim 'There's no such thing as a stupid question', is this a is miniature or a real platform

#2, I keep thinking that the lower half of the photograph hasn't uploaded and contains the part that will make me go, 'Ahh, now I see!'

#3, spooky and I like it. Has a Wicker Man feel to it.

Cheers.

Wicker Man? High praise indeed :) Oddly, I've actually built a small Wicker Man for another shot - I'm just waiting to find the right location before I torch it.

The train is a miniature, based at the railway museum. Thanks everyone for telling me how much you hate the second one of the sign: I just liked the compositon of it :)

Hey Tony :)

Step - Some more pp magic from you, a great stump you have utilised here, I love the background and the miniature entrance to another world, minor crit from me, the fairy looks great but a tad bright compared to the rest of the image - all in all, a cracker again

Clever stuff!

No crit really, as that kind of thing is totally beyond my understanding, but I like the image a lot.

It really, really is incredibly easy; that whole shot there is done with exactly two tools; layers and masks. Every single thing I've done in the thread is done with the same two tools - layers and masks.

DK - you're absolutely right: the fairy was shot over a year ago for another shot and she was lit to match that. Didn't even occur to me to dim her down a bit for this one, I was top busy burning in the shadow behind her!

I'll try and fix it if I get a chance.

HI Tony , sorry for taking so long to pop in :'(

Horn of plenty for me....love everything about .....almost everything...maybe a little to central ? Some great texture in both the horn & the base

The image with girlie doesn't quite work for me as I keep wanting to see more of the texture that's on her :clap:hands , on her face...if that makes sense ? Or possibly I've missed the point again

Small Speed....cracker that it is.....LOVE IT  no crit at all

Walking through gives me the heebie jeebies

Step....no crit as just perfect...you usual high standard of imagination & pp skill....BEAUTIFUL...can see that as a book/DVD cover for a fantasy story

Hi Tony, I like this a lot. can't say much else that hasn't been said!

(thanks for sorting the link out)

Brian. :)

Step is very nice, well put together but Hurry through is really good - very much a close encounters shot, nice.

Hi Tony,
Your latest submission for step gets my vote
The grain adds a little something to it, it just works.

Mono, just a little more dof at the front of the rings I feel is needed but other than that

Hi, cracking processing and set ups as usual.

Steps, love the colours in this one, they have a real fantasy feel to them. The detail, especially in the hole are great.

Mono, 1 is a great minimal gal and quite unnerving, great perspective.

Mono 2, on theme and can't help thinking on LOTR :D, just the knots drawing my eye.

Cheers.

Hi Tony

Mono...choices choices.......quite liking the rings but as per Iain maybe just a smidge more DOF in front of them ?

Daleks shot & set up is great ..loving your imagination as always

Not so keen on the 1st can't get my head round the grain effect

Hope your broadband is behaving again now

Broadband still buggered. On the plus side, I have new cabling but the problem seems to be at the exchange.

Have achingly slowly uploaded two connection shots:

Connected by ReanimatedImagery, on Flickr

Connection by ReanimatedImagery, on Flickr

One more shot idea to try.

Will try and comment on people's stuff from work tomorrow. Sorry for falling so far behind!

I like both of those.

The mother & baby shot is nice, a real sense of connection and the DOF and vignette work well. Nice colours too. Probably just my monitor, but the top of the little one's head is maybe a little hot. Also, I keep looking at the glasses in her hand.

The creation shot is great. A really clever idea and really nicely done.

Hi
Like both of your connection photos. Nice dof in mother & baby one. Would perhaps have liked to see his eyes looking at mom but nice all the same.
As already said, creation shot nicely done.

Hi Tony

Connection shot 2# for me....brilliantly re-created with fab textures......another idea I thought about but my skill is not that good with pp......love this image :clap: the icing on the cake would have been a little spark between the fingers maybe

I did a version with the spark but it seemed a little too 'on the nose'. Would you like to see it for comparison purposes?

Hi, 3 cracking Connections there and all very different.

#1 is lovely and screams connection. Love the processing. Little one's head looks a tad blown.

#2, yup, I had the same idea but never got around to it. Again well processed and good take on the theme.

#3, makes me feel a bit queasy, but it really works as does the processing. Crit, well, I'd like the frame moving to the right a tad and the stitching on the lower right is a tad distracting. These are minor point in the main.

Cheers.
