So this PC is over 4 years old, and I decided it was time for its, and my, first re-installation of XP.
Had to buy a new rom drive it wasn't reading disks, alls well with that.
So I install from a gen XP home disk, except when its finished, I must have cocked up somewhere.
Its an 80gig HD, before re-format there was just one HDD (C), now there's that and a 4gig local disk (F) with the new installation of XP on it, Documents/Settings and Program files folders.
HDD(C) contains 15gig of old XP installation + misc crap.
1.Can I delete all that rubbish
2.local disk (F) shows only 500mb of free space, is that enough for all the rubbish I'll be throwing into the folders doc/set and programme files.....I'm thinking not.
3.I'm gonna have to do this again aren't I.........:shake:
Any advice from you PC gods will be gratefully accepted...
