Looking to do a shoot for a couple with a VERY young baby soon, just wondered if a flash is going to be too much to use directly on the baby? At relatively low power
It's not a paid shoot guys! I don't like to charge for something that I'm using as practice tbh!
No off camera lighting but I do have an off camera flash, like an SB600 but not as fancy
Looking at using a gripped D90 with a 50mm 1.8
Open to advice
Natural lighting might be the only option if flash is a no no
I would have thought that indirect flash would be OK ? But then i'm new to baby shooting (Mines due in July!)
I have an SB900 which has a built in bounce card - not sure if the 600 does?
but I have used that on endless ocassions when indoor lighting fails me![]()
another idea ive seen is ramp up the iso high (very high) then snap away in black and white - gives a very good look
