Question for the bakers - Cake tins

What is best - using 2 sandwich tins or 1 taller springform tin - I have read that 2 tins are better as quicker cooking so a better rise & no need to slice cake in half. Is that right?

Sorry but before I can agree with you. On the excellence of you wifes sponge cake. I would need to sample at least 3 slices. So if you would kindly send slices to. Greedy old sod C/O TP. I would be greatful.
 
well if they were clamouring for more then I think we could presume they had passed the quality test :D
 
Being part canid from the North Eastern part of the American continent, I think I should be the one to conduct the Lab test. Of course, the site staff are welcome to do the preliminary testing (for poison etc.) but any leftovers should be despatched Westwards ASAP. Please.
