Until now my thoughts on landscape images have been "keep them natural" so I've kept my processing to a minimum.
Having recently started to enter a few competitions and read the occasional magazine however it seem that the processed look is increasingly popular & whilst it may not be 100% to my taste I'd like to broaden my horizons a little and give processing a bit more of my time.
Now, to get to my point, how do photographers achieve many of the dramatic processing effects - is it relatively straightforward or do they spend hours on a single image utilising numerous different Photoshop "tricks" - any help on this would be appreciated
just to give you an idea of the processing I mean here are some of the shots I was thinking of, although I know some are obviously HDR
