How does one tell if you're buying a grey import?
Usually by the warranty,a grey Nikon body wouldn't have the two-year Nikon warranty, or in the case of a lens/speedlight by the warranty card. With a grey lens or speedlight the warranty card will either be a US or HK one (Nikon Netherlands is ok though) or missing altogether...
So it would be best to send an e-mail asking before committing to purchase I suppose?
Where did you get that? I had this as a contact address

If you Google that address it's just serviced office space, the address I posted above comes from the Terms and Conditions page on their website.
I was looking at the Nikon 70-300 vr AF-S which was £360 inc delivery and was the cheapest I could find. Not keen now that it's a grey though
Being rather new to the forum I don't know who Kerso is. Also I took from Tomqhs' post above that it was Canon that had International warranty on lenses. I guess I got that wrong as well.:bonk::bang:![]()
