Please can someone give me a couple of pointers? I must be a complete idiot
I have done a search but couldn't find anything
I have recently bought myself a 450D & have installed Canons DDP.
The other day I took some photos of Tornados at Waddington in both jpg & RAW as a back up as I haven't used RAW much at all.
To cut a long story short after processing the RAW images & converting them to jpg they look awful when opened in Corel Photo Paint, all pixalated & jagged - just like very poor quality images. They look better PSP8 which I have.
I hold my hands as a complete novice with RAW and I am 'playing' with images at the moment so obviously I thought it was me, too much or not enough processing, but no matter how much or how little I process them they look just as rough. So I thought perhaps its the software that had become corrupt but when viewing other jpgs they are fine. It's almost as though Corel just doesn't like the converted images as they again look OK in Windows picture viewer.
Has anyone else encountered this or am I doing something wrong? Any help, tips or hint would be much appreciated....thanks
