Wasn't sure whether this belonged here or in the photography bit as it's not strictly on topic....
I have a press pass (as a student member of the NCJ) which I obtained whilst doing my A level photography course. Now I have never used it, but thought it might come in useful!
Anyhow, I visited Stonehenge last weekend and there was a reduced admission rate for students. Not one to miss an opportunity to save money (being from Yorkshire & all that
), I produced my press pass along with student NCJ card, hoping that they'd accept this as proof of student status and let me in for the reduced rate. Well, they went one better than that and I got in for FREE as I was classed as 'a member of the media'
How cool is that? Stonehenge is part of the National/English Heritage Trust (or whatever it's called) so I'm now wondering if anywhere else lets media members in for free.
So, those of you who have press passes, now is your chance to find out where it will get you
