Just wondering who you use when posting large lenses.just been on royal mail site and they want just over £50 for a medium parcel with up to a £1000 insurance.Are there any better options?

'Ordinary' post is divided into 5 size categories: Letter, Large Letter, Small Parcel, Medium Parcel, Large Parcel. But Special Delivery doesn't take any account of size, other than that it isn't available for Large Parcels. So there is a size limit of 61 x 46 x 46 cm, but as long as you're within that size limit the only thing that affect the price are the weight and the insurance value.
