Set your camera to F/22 in Av and let it take a photo against a white bg.

Then, get it into photoshop and apply auto-levels.

Lets see who's the filthbags around here :p

30D Purchased 2 weeks ago, and I've changed lenses about 8 times on it...lol If that.
 
Nor me ... don't know what Av is ... :lol:

And don't wanna know either 'cos then I'd have no excuse ... and the thought is scary ... sensor cleaning et al ... :eek:

Just tried mine and it looks so similar to Marcels I've not bothered putting it up :)

I'm contemplating documenting my cleaning process next time I do it... might help the faint hearted ;)

10 plastic glue spatulas from ebay
read up on the copperhill cleaning method
a steady hand and then a beer after.

I would guess that the sharp blobs are the sensor & the soft blobs are crap on the lens ???


still not to bad for 18 months .....
 
Think you missed a trick there - should have made it really subtle and just waited :D

i cant do mine until the thermonuclear time delay lock on it's box clicks open again.

Thats about 3.2 months from now :D
 
mine looks like most of those above in a normal shot...

ive had a shave, so this week i dont look like jesus(or any other beardy famous types)

Lens cap, the real shot showed my sensor being very murky.

My first "real" post :)

Got my 350D this morning and its awesome, read the manual most of the day and will have some fun with it tomorrow...


Anyway, it did this test and mines looks more or less the same as Marcels.
I guess that is because ive been taking the lens off all day :| - my new favourite toy!

I know, Sammy, it surprised me too. Never cleaned the sensor, either :thumbs:
 
I was amazed mine wasn't worse, the amount of times i have swapped lenses.
