I got plenty - my Sigma 10-20 is my fav lens :-)

All of these are 10mm on a Canon 40D - so actually 16mm (35mm equiv)

Have fun with your new lens !

This was taken with the Tamron 10-24mm lens @ 10mm.

Here is mine, a puffin taken on Skomer Island. Me and Paul (Grendel) had great fun doing these wide angle puffin shots :D This one was 12mm which is the widest lens I have.

Yeah, great one Hacker! Love it.

Do you mind if I ask a couple of questions about your shot? You seem to have been able to focus very close to the subject (unless this is a crop?). What lens did you use and what was the focussing distance?

I'd love to take shots like this but I find that when I get really close to the subject, the minimum focussing distance of the Tok 11-16 is too long and I can't get a focus lock.

dangermouse, where did you take that photo? its amazing!

Some amazing shots here guys
(Great thread btw!)

It was taken with the Nikon 17-35mm (on full frame) and is more or less straight from camera, I can't remember what the focussing distance was and I don't have the lens anymore. Sorry!

Not sure this is wide I know the lens is 13mm but on a Canon PowerShot A700 it is much longer in real terms is it not? (think its 35mm)
Nice photo by the way where is It?

Trust you Chaz.

Do you trawl looking for 'rule breakers' :rules:

Great shots all.

Thanks for doing your best to answer the questions Hacker! I checked the focussing distance for the 17-35mm. 28cm is the minimum.

that was taken in chamonix when i went snowboarding, its ontop of the cable car but i cant remember the name of the place sorry.

I think it may be the "Aigle du Midi; Chamonix" hth
