Posiview's TP52 2016. Week 52 Celebrate added. FINISHED :)

Certainly made me look twice.
It's interesting the way that the lighter marks in the back of the cupboard(?) makes it look like there are reflections in non existent glass. Overall dark exposure does give it a spooky feel.
I didn't know you were an urbexer Andy.

Very Spooky Andy - atmospheric b&w processing helping with the eerie feel.

Has someone tried to set fire to the place? Abandoned, forgotten and yes a bit spooky too. Nicely framed.

It's on the shoreline at Spurn Point. Looks to have been some kind of office that has fallen into the sea. It's seen a few fires.

Cheers.

Very well processed for the theme, nice touch with the ghostly selfie in the window.

Nicely atmospheric Andy, no shoe horn this week :)

I envy you a "willing" model.... especially one open to bribery; look what I have to work with and you'll readily appreciate the value you're getting for a meagre £5. Spot on with the lighting and WB - nice detail and I especially like the highlights in her eyes. Both versions work really well - the b&w edges it for me but then I am biased that way.

I think the colour works well and it is nicely captured but I keep seeing that the catch-lights are on opposite sides of her eyes, can't quite understand how that happens

...... nice touch with the ghostly selfie in the window. :runaway:

What a great Pose, great model with a touch of humour. (y)

Nice spooky pic very dark in a good way, the portrait, both work but I do like a bit of black and white so I will go for that

Nope, I had no idea about the big bang theory (though have heard it mentioned), glad you posted the link (and Cobra's right).
Colour version for me, the blacks look better and her hair looks wrong in the B&W (certainly at the front anyway) to my eyes.

Im with Carl, the mono works better for me.

Indeed I did, she is far prettier than Sheldon though :D

Colour for me Andy :)

Pose; Like both the colour and mono versions and each has its own merit. It must've been a fortune over the years you been paying the (same) model!

Spooky; Like the processing. Very sinister and spooky composition.

Nice !!! - I like the warmth of the colour version for me Andy, nice even light, and with lovely contact and smile coming from Isabelle's eyes, a shot to make anybody viewing it smile back :)

Definitely the colour one for me Andy, it has a lovely warm tone and shows off Isabelle's beatiful eyes. You did well with the pose. When I try it with the grandkids they seem to find it impossible to look remotely normal.

Thanks all, she is a wonderful model.

@sirch I used 2 soft boxes but it looked a little odd having 2 catchlights in each eyes. I take your point, though.

Cheers.

some reat pics here I love your crack of Dawn image of the Milky way must have been truely amazing to be there

Wow - that milky way shot is stunning - you are definitely your own harshest critic!
Spooky works well - you find some really atmospheric places for your shots.
I certainly recognise that pose - we're big fans of the Big Bang Theory here, too. A fun shot, lighting looks good - colour for me. I'm definitely not telling William about your going rate for modelling though... ;)

Thanks, all, appreciate.

That is a very clever bit of thinking Andy - maybe Trump needs to be toned down a bit (in any number of ways) but the reflection in the eye and tear running down the face is an inspired concept.

Nice idea Andy agree with Carl trump seems a little too bright, but a well thought out submission

Yeah, had a bit of a mental block and can't recall how to reduce the opacity.

Cheers.

And another £5 well spent, great idea Andy, well thought out.

Very topical (did we not had this theme earlier this year?) nice PP work too.

Good ole Isabelle, what would you do without her !!! Wonderful detail Andy, spot on tones too, theme wise nice and original for sure (y)

No other words to use here but "excellent".
That DoF is soooo shallow.

Cheers, need to stop using Isabelle, a bit expensive :)

Tim, @LC2 , this is at f10 as well, the 105mm is mental :)

Cheers.

Great concept very well put together, Trump might be a bit bright but that's a minor nit-pick. Shot of the week so far for me.
