Posiview's TP52 2016. Week 52 Celebrate added. FINISHED :)

A very striking image - well done for the concept & execution. I'm curious - could we see the shot without the heavy vignette?

Excellent take on theme. Extremely brave. Superb image. Colour version is best brings out the detail in the tattoos nicely. Bruising on first image just adds to the shot.

Cheers. Colour seems to be the preferred submission

Cheers, Phil, @philthejuggler the photograph was taken in my living room and the flash spilled onto the BG which is visible without the vignette :(

Wow  what a striking and brave capture - fantastic Andy, well done !

Cheers, appreciate the feedback.

Sorry I am so behind with comments

Old - as a parent I can relate to the Idea of your baby getting older
Metal - I like the portraits best nice interpretation on theme
Captive - Strong image very brave. the colour one is definitely best.

Captive - Colour version for me too! Love the vignette effect and you're certainly bang on theme too, great shot - very brave!
How did you actually 'take' the shot Andy? Remote? Timer? A glamorous assistant? ;)

No problems with the catchup... it's very hard commenting in the initial few weeks

.Ha Haaaaaa nice one, well two, I'm in for the colour version too, the tie works well as does the lit area of floor, and a gold star to you for the first and scariest selfie of the year :jawdrop: :runaway:

(y)

Cheers, there will be more, I'm sure :naughty:

That's really quite clever - neat idea and well executed. As you say, bang on theme!

Nice and sharp with a very clean background. #2 for me as well as the first one has too much empty space for me and the bottle detail is a bit lost.

Hi Andy. Definitely on theme. A close call but Yes, I think probably #2 for me too - more prominent an image. I like the clean bg and the reflection in that pin head.

Captive, like it and well thought out. Well at least its different from your normal Selfie shots

Number 2 for me. simple, clean lines work best for me viewed close up. Maybe missing a wee drop shadow under the bottle? Another week successfully completed. Cheers

#2 for me Andy, less unused space. Presumably it's a composite. Either that or that's a bloody big knitting needle!

Hi Andy ...I think it's #2 for me too, good clean unfussy shot ... excellent idea and very effective.

Cheers all, drop shadow, never thought about that.

Hi Andy, the first one for me I like its isolation in the frame, bit of a drop shadow has been mentioned but as always a well thought out image

A fascinating idea - there is something about it that messes with my depth perception - can't quite work out where the bottle sits relative to the head!

I had thought of doing something along those lines but glad I didn't now because I would never have got anything as good as yours. Nice details on the pin, I think I prefer the first.

Oh she let you go then? (RE: captive)

I prefer the second mini whiskey, great idea Andy. Nicely done.

I actually like the 1st one more great idea I like it

love this, so more creative than i could ever be. Perfect

That's very miniature indeed and nice work of photoshop too.

That's a very small bottle - I prefer the slight crop but that's just taste, nice work (y)

#2 for me Andy as the bottle appears to be floating more in #1

Very nice (and clever) Andy, I think 1 pips it for me - wonderfully executed all round as you would expect ;)

Thanks for the positive comments, folk. I did have an issues with the bottle appearing to float, it does't but seems to appears that it is :)

Cheers.

One from the TP meet at Ribblehead.

I was cold, I was wet. I was hungry. I was thirsty. I was tired and I had a banging headache....but I was ssoooo happy to be there. Spent around 2 hours scouting for a location to photograph a train that was due over at 09:30 the morning after :geek:

I found all the elements for a great photograph but none of them were in the same place :)

@Mardybum and @mickledore decided to meet at Dent Viaduct and we managed see the train and, hopefully, get some keeps :)

Anyway, and yes, it's another selfie :p, my Happy. There was a better composition but two cars were in the BG, how very dare they :bat:

Cheers.

Week 3 Happy by aNdy sHeader, on Flickr

Hi Andy - yes, you do look happy - not surprised with that landscape and sky for an outing with the camera. Excellent composition

Miniature ... I think I prefer #1 ... it's more miniature

Happy ... would be nice to see more of the viaduct but standing in between the camera and the cars was a good idea. Happiness

Holy cow. Run for your lives TPers... Hahaha, nice one Andy. Glad you got your train too, are you gonna show us?

Well you certainly look like your enjoying yourself :D

You do indeed look Happy

Nice picture Mr Happy, nice sky too.
I like the whisky on the giant pin too.

That's a nice portrait Andy. Like the way all focal points converge on the top right third. Sure is a happy feeling being out exploring with camera and friends

Cheers all, a nice, simple submission this week :)
