Day 49.

Somewhat rushed and inspired by a sculpture I've seen in Leeds Art Gallery, possibly Henry Moore.

I'll do this one again over the summer when I have more time to mark out the cotton and take a better photograph.

DOF is out for both at f4....:(

Thanks, Liz, trust me, if you're doing one of these projects (and you will be soon...:thumbs:) the ideas seem to just pop into your head.
 
Day 49, reshoot.

Managed to do a reshoot.

I feel these are better that the first 2, but I wish, on reflection, I'd have included the flowers in the background...

BTW, the holes around the 'COSTA' are for day 50....

Day 50.

I was going to do an ice-cream take using the 'golf balls' and a Costa cup at the Menwith Hill base while on my way back from Brimham Rocks. Anyway, while laying on the ground getting stung to hell by nettles, I was approached by 2 armed police officers.

No real worries, they just asked me what I was doing and ran my car plates, and I had a chat with one of the officers.

It was quite funny but I didn't stay around to get the photograph...

Anyway, I went for a much safer "Where's Costa?" idea.

This is a brilliant concept Andy, with some great execution! As others have said, I have no idea how you manage to think of all your different pictures, but they're fantastic. First time I've come across this thread today, and it's defo going to be a regular view.

Particularly like the Costa v McDonalds knockout. As a fellow Costa lover (although not quite so insane as yourself...), this kept me chuckling for much of the afternoon.

Day 52.

Quite enjoyed this one but the neighbours will be wondering why my livingroom lights are going on and off all night...:D

BBBOOOO to Flickr, just viewed it posting and there's a slight circle around each dot, at least when I view it....:(

Andy you are not right in your head :cuckoo: and for that reason i think you are superb there are far too many serious people in this world, its a breath of fresh air , your photography is simply amazing, as said before how do you come up with these ideas!!! you must be very creative :thumbs::thumbs:

I'm blushing...

Thought this would be easy. One Costa related photograph a day for a year....how hard can that be. Well, it ain't been easy. I carry a notepad with me and am constantly boring my wife and daughters and nagging for ideas.

Ah, well, I am learning and really enjoying it.

Day 56.

I spent most of the day 'in the field' photographing nature....

Anyway, I took my Costa cup (I'm getting worried!) but didn't manage to incorporate it into anything, but I did finish the day with a masimo mocha....

Kids...:bang: as soon as I got my daughter on the table and the photograph composed she said, "Daddy, I need the toilet!".

Rushed the photograph, sky's blown out, I'd rather be further under her, that is closer to the table to get a better perspective and I should have moved the flower pots from around the bottom.

Bit of a rushed day so no time for a reshoot.

Not that happy with this one.

Would rather have the whole of the UK in the Costa colour but my PP skill and time were against me...

Also, need to prepare for my 52 tonight - will the family ever go to bed....:D
