I am trying to download photos from my friend's Canon IXUS 220HS into my Windows XP computer.
It appeared to download them OK but when I click on a photo with Microsoft Photo Editor it gives a notice saying 'The image is too large (too many bytes)'
The videos play but very badly in sound OK but images jumpy and leaving out sections.
I myself use an old Canon sureshot with much smaller pictures and that works OK.
Would it work if I ran the disc that came with my friend's camera?
I have Canon Zoombrowser installed but it doesn't seem even to have registered these latest photos in its listings - they only show up in Microsoft.
Can anyone explain to a nove what's going on please?
I see on Google they talk of software to reduce picture size but what's the point of having a large megapixel camera if you have to reduce sizes?
