So an index wont work
Unless I read wrong!
I think they've changed it to 90 days now, which is still 12 weeks worth. I'm going to keep updating mine for as long as they let me.I may have misunderstood but I think the forums settings were changed and you cant change your posts after 28 days?

Hi, numbers have already dropped, as they did last year, so I have more time to comment on all that are using the spreadsheet linkyif you PM Dawn (username Drodd) she'll add you...she's a good un
You can either catch up in one go or start fro week 4 and add weeks 1, 2 and 3 over the coming months.
You will get a lot out or it...but not wanting to put you off, it's not easy (and shouldn't be).
Cheers.

as for posting a link in the 1st post of your thread...if it works for you then great....I have'nt a clue how to do it...tried & failed last year
As for changing your thread title...if it becomes a problem I'm sure a pm to Sarahlee will sort it out for you...she's incredibly helpful![]()

The goblin said:As for linking your posts, it's easier done on a pc. Open the post you want to link in a new window by clicking on the post number. Copy the address.
Go back to your first post in your thread and type which ever theme name it is.
Highlight that word and click on the hyperlink (a little globe with a paper clip) A box will open with 'http://' delete that and paste in the address you copied earlier. Click ok. It'll show the whole address. Click save and your theme will be linked![]()

Southdowns said:So far the main benefit of this 52 for me has been that it's made me think about the shot I want BEFORE I take it, rather than "ooh that looks nice > snap". The themes are irrelevant to that; they just have to exist!
Absolutely - whilst themes like "Sigh" might cause us all to well sigh and groan !! I have no doubt that it pushes me to think much harder about the process of taking the picture. I'm in this to push myself beyond taking a "snap" to an increased standard of composition/lighting and techincal understanding of the process.

I'm thinking about composition, lighting, exposure and everything in between a whole lot more than 4 weeks ago. I'm looking at everyday objects and thinking about how I can capture them in a unique and meaningful way rather than 'adjust settings, point, shoot' so for me the 52 has been a marvelous adventure, ......

You know you're obsessed when the first thing you do when you wake up is grab your phone to check the new theme!

You could have said something similar for Sweet but look at the variation of photos that were produced.Hmm secure interesting will be load of pictures of padlocks

So how do you edit someone's photo? I've seen a few dabbled with!
The shots I was planning for tonight didn't work out again... back to the drawing board :bang:
Very TrueWhat were you after? Any ideas why it didn't work out?
This forum is as much about why photographs didn't work as much as it is about how photographs did work![]()
