Photo52 2011 - Wk 48 Cute added

Hi Tina,

I like the reshoot of week 12.
I see it took you three glasses of wine to perfect it!

Week 13 is a nice angle.

As for week 14, sorry but not an object of desire for me, it looks to be suffering with subsidence to the right!! I suspect it's the tree causing it or the Jack Russel!

Re Week 12, I felt i should take more carethis time ;)

Week 13, thanks for looking

Weeks 14, not my idea of perfection either...i suspect the Jack Russel, though he only weighs about 6.5 kilo ;)

Nice Object Tina. It has all the elements to portray a country pile. The fence, the big tree and the Range Rover.
Well shot particularly with the limitations and circumstances.

Nice one :thumbs::clap::)

btw your thread is still headed "Wk 13 Empty"

Hi Tina

just popped into say Great shots for Object & Empty...the bench really does seem to jump out of the picture & make you think you could sit on it

Hiya Tina,

I actually like your photo for wrong .... considering the sun has been very bright lately I think you have done well.

Love how you have the OOF background, which really makes the subject stand out.

Well done

Cheers

Dawn :)

Not truly Tropical but the combination of the weather and the sun on this plant always makes me feel tropical.

I realise that many feel one should take the image without all the reflections and glare but I feel it adds to the feeling of heat.

Nearly caught up...just the hardest left

Hiya Tina,

Yep, that definitely looks tropical to me. Love the colours and as you say the glare/reflection definitely adds to the image in this case.

Well done

Cheers

Dawn :)

Dawn you are so sharp you'll cut yourself ;)

Thanks for encouragement, kind of lost the flow over the last few weeks. Trying to get back on top and hope creativity follows suit :bang:

Hiya Tina,

You are welcome ..... glad to see you are catching up and doing a good job at it too.

Your creativity will follow ... sometimes one just needs to take a break so that it can rejuvenate.

Cheers

Dawn :)

Trying to catch up.

I found this whilst out on Easter Sunday

And why wrong? Well we could start with my processing...sunshine is bad for that ;) Then there is how mad are these two, a baby and I assure you that was a VERY lively puppy!

Hi Tina, love the photo, great idea with blur..but for me the lady's leg under the bench is still in focus and my stoopid eye caught this and ruined the blur effect....[and psst..you could magnify in closer to the hedge...and get the blur closer in].. what program do you use for the blur?

its a lovely puppy... soo cute..

Lol, DAMN! another part that is wrong :D I just used Fastone (an easy to use and free application that does batch processing too) and I admit to not zooming in to do the selection :$

...but then your tropical.. damn i love that goregous colour...and the glare is adding to the image..defo

i wouldn't have noticed the hedge if i hadn't seen the leg...

Great colours in your Tropical shot Tina it certainly looks tropical to me.
Kev has spoiled your wrong shot for me by pointing out the leg under the bench. Didn't notice it on first look.

 Don't do that, how will we learn? we need sharp eyed souls such as you to help us identify our blind spots

Great shot for Tropical Tina. Lovely well defined colours, composition and focus. Nice one

Thanks Martin,I love this plant, no idea what it is called!!! I'm no gardener.

Hi Tina , wonderful plant to shot for Tropical , can almost feel the heat around it  Def suits the theme & as others have mentioned ,the glare adds to the whole feeling

Thanks Lynne, it is a beautiful shade that adds to the hot impression.

Wrong - cute dog
After reading the other posts, you can see the post processing on the hedge, leg and back of the blok sitting.
For me the foot on the right hand side is wrong...

But hey if thats the case then this pic fits really well with the topic :D so congrats! and  to those who want you to 'fix' it :)

Tropical - this works really well - congrats!

tropical for me is a bug bear..!! and after dawn picked me up about me shirt incident i'm taking my time... maybe a shot of mali--.. maliii b--... that M drink might be appropriate .. but have a strong dislike for coconut..

That m drink fairly perks up a black morning coffee though, and if you have a few it provides inspiration, or something.

Tina, when I say Kev spoiled it for me I didn't mean I didn't like the picture. Merely that I am not as observant as he is:)

Processing...:shake: ;)...I guess it's the content as oppsed to the actual image that's the focus...

I tend not to judge other folk, bbbuuttt, this is one of them occasions I see quite often and have to agree. It only take one split second/one 'jealous' dog to spell disaster.

Now I like dogs, but......

Hi Tina, you have a great photo for wrong, I did look at it this morning and couldn't see the connection, BUT after looking at it again (properly this time!) I see the connection, they were mad!

Your tropical is lovely, great colour and the extra lighting adds to it as well.

Thank you for your kind words Michael :)

My Tropical was lit only by the British sun ;) Amazing what happens in April

Hi Tina, having a catchup with your 52 as I've been away for a few weeks. you've certainly been trying out different styles of photography and branching out with your PP.

Some really appealing images among the recent batch. My recent favourite is week 17 "tropical". The colours are stunning and it certainly has a tropical feel to it. The glare on the leaves gives a great feel of strong sunshine.

Patrick

Thanks Patrick, both for stopping by and your kind words. I'm finding this challenge a great opportunity both to try out new stuff and learning from others.
